poly mains/multi crosses vs multi mains/poly crosses

I know conventional wisdom says go for poly mains/multi crosses for more durability, control and spin. Multi mains/poly crosses for more power and comfort. (I'm avoiding confusing terms like playability). Beyond this, given the same poly and multi, is there anything else I should know?

(Obviously string tension matters, but I'm trying to get at a general answer, kind of like the above, where tension is really notwithstanding. Let's say the mains are 2 lbs lower tension than the crosses, regardless of which string goes where)
