So... my string trial continues.
Having loved a softer poly/Prince Premier Attack hybrid for the feel and greater arm friendliness, I lost heart when it broke within a couple of hours. I string my own, but I don't want to be restringing so often if at all possible.
I currently have Prince Beast XP in, because I'm abroad with one racquet and don't want to get the racquet restrung again during the week (I'm playing each day). It's OK, but my arm isn't loving it and it doesn't have the feel I was getting with the hybrid poly/PPA - nothing like it in fact (it's groovy for serves though!).
Here are my questions:
1. What's the most durable multi?
2. Has anyone tried Technifibre Duramix - is this worth considering?
3. What is generally going to be more durable... full multi or hybrid with a soft poly?
4. Is there a super-soft poly that comes close to a multi for feel and arm-friendliness?
5. Would I be better going for a gut hybrid? I've found gut has lasted better than any multi tried to-date... but I'll still need a durable alternative (I play in the UK, so I sometimes play matches in the rain).
Any other suggestions....
