Poly/Poly Hybrid for Pro Staff 97

I am interested in finding the right poly/poly hybrid setup for my Pro Staff 97 v13. I’ve probably read way too many threads, but after experimenting a bit I’ve settled on using a soft poly in the mains with a rough poly cross string.

So far my favourite combination has been 16L Poly Tour Pro @57 lb / 16L ALU Power Rough @53 lb. I’ve also used 16L Poly Tour Air @57lb w/ 16L ALU Power Rough @53 lb and like that feel as well.

Both setups provide me with a very smooth and responsive feel, with the perfect amount of spin to really pinpoint my forehand, knife my slices and feel confident on touch shots at the net. I love the feel of ALU Power Rough in my string bed, I originally used it as a full bed, but just felt like it didn't give my Pro Staff enough power.

Do you think hybriding two different polyester strings is worth doing, or should I put ALU Power Rough in the mains and PTP or PTA in the crosses? What are some of your favourite Poly/Poly hybrid setups?

My favourie is in my sig Big Spin/Tour Hex at 47/44.
Hit Pro/Tour Hex is not too shabby either.

@Fintft I have been toying with the idea of the Hit Pro / Tour Hex Hybrid. With Hit Pro / Tour Hex

1) Do you run Tour Hex in mains or crosses?
2) Hit Pro does not have the same tension maintainence / playability that Tour Hex does indvidually, I am curious, together does the hyrbid last as long before snapping and maintain playability for the same duration as full bed of Tour Hex? Is the drop in playabilty pretty smooth and linear like a full bed of Tour Hex?

Thanks.

1. As per above post.
2. No, as far as I remember, since it's been a while from the Hit Pro/Tour Hex hybrid.
