[Poly/Poly hybrids] Thinner gauge in mains? (Confidential 1.20 / Ghostwire 1.27)

If Im trying a poly-poly hybrid, what would be the downside / difference of doing Confidential 1.20 main with Ghostwire 1.27 cross, compared to a GW 1.17 cross, say (I want to try Confidential 1.20 in a hybrid, and happen to have half set Ghostwire 1.27 - not the end of the world if I need to buy a new set of GW, but curious on the tradeoffs). So the options I'm considering:

A: Conf 1.20 / GW 1.27
B. Conf 1.20 / GW 1.17
C: Conf 1.25 / GW 1.27

This would be in an 18x20 Head Speed Pro, at 46/46 give or take.

In my experience the diameter of the cross impacts launch angle (higher diameter = lower launch angle) and control (higher diameter is more control).

But that experience is mostly in 16M patterns.
