Poly recommendation for ezone 98

Hey there, I'm an advanced player using a 2018 ezone 98 with a 4 grams of lead at 12 o clock. I've been using the yonex poly tour pro 120 at 22 kg or 49 lbs (i think). Im a pretty flat hitter and i feel like im lacking control in my shots, if i properly swing out like im used to the ball lands past the baseline. My previous racket was a blade 100L strung with luxilon alu power and overhitting was rarely an issue, the string felt great. I need less pop and more control. Should i opt for a higher tension or try something like an alu power (if so what tension would you recommend for it?) Any other string recommendations are welcome!

If you want to stay with Poly Tour Pro, you can try increasing the tension to 23-24kg first or switch to the next gauge up (1.25mm) and see how that goes. Otherwise, plenty of control oriented strings out there to choose from. My 1st recommendation would be Kirschbaum ProLine II, because it has great value, better tension maintenance and feels like a low powered Poly Tour Pro, in my experience.

I just checked and unfortunately the Kirschbaum ProLine II is sold out in all my local stores and i need to get my racket strung in the next few days so waiting for shipping isnt an option. I will however try it out next time i restring. I will probably opt for the luxilon alu power 125. What tension should i string it at considering my poly tour pro was at 22kg? The PTP almost felt "boardy"

In my experience Alu Power is a bit stiffer than PTP and since you said the latter felt almost "boardy" at 22kg, I wouldn't string it much higher. I'd suggest 23-24kgs.
