Polys with good feel?

Hi I'm a 5.0 serve and volley player 18s super.
I hit with heavy topspin from the baseline and break string every 7-8 hours.
I've tried a few polys but I lose so much feel at the net.

Are there any suggestions for polys with feel
or a good durable poly/multi or poly/synth hybrids you guys have tested?

I got a reel of Pro's Pro Stratagem 1.25 for just $42 after shipping. I really lucked into a nice string. It's a clone of Dunlop Black Widow, although from what I've read here it's not an exact copy. It's billed as an all-court string. It's comfortable on the arm and has excellent feel and spin, and it lasts well for a poly. An odd charecteristic of the string is that it is very powerful. I string it at my synthetic gut tension and it still has plenty of pop.

The weakness of Stratagem is that it gets a little bit brittle from the final cross weaves and I've broken it off while tightening a knot. It only happened once, but I'm more careful on the final knot now. It's not noticable in the stringbed's performance.

It's available in sets too, from bigttennis.

Probably not; the very nature of it usually victimizes another person and that can never really feel good unless you're a sociopath.

You're right. It doesn't feel good. But what am I supposed to do? Damned if I do, damned if I don't. Ignorance is bliss.

Out of all the polys I have tried Gosen Sidewinder probably had the best feel. But don't expect miracles, it is still a poly...

Don't expect this to have the best feel you want, since you are asking for poly, but ISOSPEED Pulse / Toalson Leoina 66 or Xcel, or Babolat Hurricane Feel / Toalson Leoina 66 or Xcel have decent feels in my experience.

Trick I've found with poly to allow for better feel is to string it loose... like 40-44lbs loose. I string this way with Gamma Zo Dart 17 in my PS90 and it's really nice. Cups the ball and have good feel at the net also. Can do stop volleys, have good cuts for angled ones, etc. If you string it too tight, you lose all that. Give it a try.

I have some Gamma Zo Dart 17... What did you use for the Crosses? And, is 49 to 53 lbs too high? Thanks!!
