cool what are the discounts, requirements for full and partial
Good discounts on already reasonable prices.
reqs? for the full and patial any1?
is polystar a string company?
PolyStar is a German string company since 1981. They actually produced the first poly string ever made, PolyStar Classic. Many ATP pros have been using their strings through the years, until today.
They are new in North America, and the preferred player requirements are very fair: email@example.com
pretty cheap strings.
What are the req's
just ask BigT or e-mail him, because he's the U.S. distributor for polystar.. he knows whats up and that's why he's on here
Big t wat are reqs
The req's as of now are probably the easiest around. Send an email, answer some ?'s and find out.
Darn it, I wish we had more rep's from different companies on the boards , like Big T
It's not quantity, it's quality....one might be all you need.
Haha, I'd love to try out PolyStar, but unfortunately , I think I found my new string.... =/ If some how it doesn't work out for me, I will definitely give your string a try.
Big T, is there something on your website for the package of strings if you qualify?
It's true. I was accepted into the preferred-player program even though I've been posting some sub-par results recently. BigT's a great guy, and, to be honest, two of the strings he sells, PolyStar Energy and MSV Focus Hex happen to be my two favorite polys on the planet--I can't decide which one to order! Anyway, the program is highly recommended.
Oh, BigT, I was also wondering, if I do decide to use MSV Focus Hex over Polystar Energy (I'm right at 50-50 at this moment), is there an MSV stencil as well? Thanks again.

How does he have msv strings? Isn't that a separate string company?
yeah and I wonder the reqs for msv...
I get my PolyStar at tennis string man dot com in the northeast. You can contact them at tennis string man @ aol dot com.
Wouldn't getting a PolyStar preferred player program be much better than buying it through tennis string man dot com?
You can get the preferred player through them also if your ranking is high enough. Great string, more feel that Pro hurricane Tour, more power than SPPP, more comfort than ALU.
How does it compare to pl2?
Better feel, more power and comfort. Other than PolyStar, the only poly that I like playing with is ALU but after 4-6 months, I would get soreness in my shoulder. Also, ALU sponsorship is only for the top 5 per country which is rather difficult to get unless I was to chase points and actually spend more $$$ than the sponsorship is worth.
I got 10% off of the Prefered players package so i can get a reel for $70 is this a good price?
^ Have you tried the strings? I wouldn't blindfolded go and get strings just because they give me a good deal.
O i would never do that its just that im new to the brand
robert wong knows what he's talking about... it's good to have 2 polystar distributors on here and they can really help promote their stuff on here..
agree.. try them out!
Try it for your self and compare to PLII. You're the best judge for your self.
Wondertoy is Robert Wong, junior from Eastern Section?
KC Corkery, I presume? How hard is it to be an ATP Pro who can earn a living?
Very werid, I was in talks with Big T regarding a payment method, and he just stopped emailing me. It's been two days and I haven't heard back from him since...
Bob is the man and knows his stuff like no other; his older brother used to string my frame with Polystar Energy, which is an awesome string.
Speaking of which, Robbie, your dad still strings locally around town, right? I hate going to Sound Shore and plopping 25 a set for ALU to those jackasses over there, my usual guy moved to Innis, and little Grund is too lazy to do it. I need somewhere local to go and it'd be sick if he could get me Polystar or whatever, especially because I pass your house almost every day (I'm at Norwalk for the semester) and it'd be really convenient.
Just found your emails in the spam box, have no idea how they got there.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I am just hear to say there was just a little bit of confusion and that everything is resolved.
NickC, drop on by, Chris is around and he will sting up PolyStar Energy for you.
will polystar send any free samples before they buy a package so they know if we like it???
no ... i tried
Oh Chris is still home? Could have sworn Doug told me he'd be moving into the city sometime soon. But the only thing is that I don't really know him all that well - he knows Kristen a hell of a lot better than he knows me, could you text me his number or tell him I'm stopping by within a few days?
And you know who I am, right? Just making sure...
Preferred Players are now being accepted for 2010. Applications could be filled out on the website.
This is available for juniors in North America. Other countries should contact us first.
is there like a package or deal? if so whats in it? or is it just discounts off everything and how much
it is just discounts off of everything. But if you want they will send you one pack of each string for $25 to see which string you like
^^^o interesting... sounds good how many strings come with that and what are the ranking reqs?
4 sets come with the sample pack. Ranking reqs vary and depend on your section and application.
ok thanks for help guys!
im gonna try it. My ranking isnt high but, whatever.
Separate names with a comma.
