Poor Dimitrov... got destroyed again LOL!

Looking at his result since the USO, it's clear that his SF run was a fluke more than anything as he hasn't even come close to backing it up in the smaller events that followed against lesser opposition.
I'm not sure what he can do at this point? The early exits just keep adding up this year, week after week. You expect him to lose more often that not against top 10 players but not against players he should "technically" be beating.
2019 will probably end up being the worst year of his career and if some thought the USO was the light at the end of the tunnel, then think again.

People always commenting on female players, telling them to stop modelling so much and actually practice... Maybe it's high time Dimitrov did so?

He lost a 3rd set TB to ServbotSam and his 25 aces on a fast indoor HC. Except for it being outdoors, the Chengdu loss to Bublik was virtually identical. That leaves the Beijing loss to Rubylev as the one “got destroyed” moment. Sh11t happens. TTW gasps and overreacts.

How sad is this guy. Loosing left n right. Out in the second round in Vienna!

He doesn't model as far as I can tell and he practices as much as any other player that I've seen practice including Thiem. ;)

I'm just grateful that Dmitrov put Paul on the tennis map for me.
I had never heard of him before and would still not know about him had I not tuned in to watch Dmitrov.
I only watched the middle of the match but I must say the level of play from both players was absolutely outstanding!
Many crazy Fed-like shots/retrieving.
I was very impressed with the Paul's poise.
I'm a convert and have become another disciple of Paul.

It's hard. It's hard looking at his career and not seeing a Slam Final. That loss to Nadal in 2017, man that was his best chance. I'm done.

Injury marred early pro years after a solid junior year winning RG and finalist to Fritz (both times) at USO. Finally healthy and working with Brad Stine in the box.

It's sad to see that 2020 is basically a continuation of the long term decline that started all the way back in 2018 for Dimitrov. I understand he's had some shoulder injuries on/off in the last couple of years, but regardless he just can't turn things around and find any kind of consistency. The early exits are piling up regardless of who's coaching him so I wonder where he goes from here? I hate to say this as a Grigor fan, but perhaps he's maxed out his game?

Back to his old ways. This thread makes it impossible for him to blame Covid! It might have made him stronger even. He is usually a first-round-looser-kind-of-guy!

Bombing out in the second round of the USOpen. If I remember he served for the match 2 times in the 4th set and was a break up in the 5th. Does not matter to this guy! HE.WILL.BEND.OVER!

what makes me mad about Dimitrov is he lost to the big 3 when he was younger, now he's losing to the next gen

he never really had what it takes to cement his place as a permanent top 10 player

got beat by grandpas now he getting beat by youngsters
you could say the same for the rest of the players from Dimitrov's generation.

seriously, I have no idea what Peter Lundgren saw in this guy when he was 18. He said he was as talented as Federer
