Poor paint around grommets

Got a new Wilson Clash and noticed that the paint job around the grommets are pretty bad, is this normal? Picture Here.

That’s not normal. I would send it back.
Those things are $250.

Horrible Wilson quality as usual

I suppose if i was to get a replacement it may be the same. It will get chipped pretty soon so i guess il keep it.

I strung my friend's Clash 100ul for him. First stringing apart from the factory strings. When I cut those out the paint was exactly the same as pictured. I sent him pics before I strung it as I didn't want him to think it was a fault of mine.

Thanks for letting me know. Looks to be common then, wilson need to up their quality

If people would send them back on a regular basis, Wilson would up their quality to help control their costs. Why should they change if people are accepting the poor quality they have now.

Yeah paint is so horrible on these frames, especially the 100 clashes (for chipping). I took some finishing tape off my overgrip for my blade the other day and a huge chunk of paint came off.....

Wilson normally have poor paint around the grommets. And the bumper. And the hoop. And the throat. And the rest too.

Assuming this was directed towards me, I had a clash tour for a few weeks. I'd pull it out my racket bag and find random chips when it wasn't even used. My rackets from 10 years ago look as good as my blade I've had for a month and half. It's actually astonishing that they're able to have such abysmal QC and survive. Wouldn't be acceptable for pretty much anything else.

Jeez. I've not bought a wilson for a while. Sad to see the quality is that bad. Ohwell il just use it. Maybe go back to dunlop next time

Quality is secondary to knowing your favorite pro uses that racket.
