Pospisil to H22

The problem with H22 and H19 talk is that it's not information that I can retain. So when we get into "No, they're H22." I feel lost trying to figure it out. Then I get a link to a thread that just confuses me more. THEN, the H22 and H19's get heavily customized, anyway so that no one H22 or H19 plays alike.

I wish H19 and H22 would just become separate lines. with a new name attached.

I can only hack it when I can find pictures where I can see visual differences between the two. I think all H19 players have moved to Ultra paint now. This left the blade ‘understaffed’ so it makes sense they would need H22 players to rep different paint just as they do with the 6.1.

So they way you can tell is usually by three major factors: string pattern, head and beam shape, and throat shape. It is based on a radical mold which has a distinct boxy shape and thick beam : this video should help out for H22
As for H19, it is a very prestige like racquet with a thin beam and very Y shaped throat area, string pattern will look just like Head prestige frames (Wilson 18x20 patterns are very different and you should be able to tell the difference by just looking at the string bed) reference the video above for this.
Here is an H19:

And here is a normal blade 18x20:

The throat is Y shaped and the frame is boxier, also the drill pattern is very different in the H19.

So true. I have seen the video and pictures before and had trouble retaining it until I was actually able to see a BLX blade & H22 side by side in person. Having it in your hands helps you process it so much better.

My problem now is finding bumperguard/grommets for an H22 18X20 and for an Nblade 98.
1st world problems.

Pospisil's racquet looks like an H19. Notice the last cross is higher up than on the H22 which is more evenly spaced.

Can't really tell from that tiny pic and his overgrip is wrapped really high covering up part of the bottom throat so it's hard to tell. I still think the last cross string is high like on the H19 and the beam of the head is more rectangular not Blade like.
I’ll look for a better pic, I agree that it isn’t a blade.
