Gus and Marley, sorry if pic is so big
We had a cocker spaniel when I was a kid from middle school through high school. He was given to us as he’d been living on a farm but was house broken. Before I had my driver’s license, I’d walk that dog everywhere. All of the girls thought he was so cute. They’d come to pet him and he’d just roll over so they could run his belly. It always embarrassed me because he’d be exposing his genitalia and I was a quiet or shy kid.
I have cats myself but two friends with dogs (one with a pair of Boxers, the other with a German Shepherd and a Pit Bull) have large cages like that in the house and tell me the dogs prefer to go in there when they want to sleepWhy were they in cages in the 1st pic?
Here's one of our family doggos. A German Shepherd Husky mix. She is a nutter butter:
Rocco is 15 month old German Shepherd and has been my quarantine project/buddy. He acts like a preteen boy. He doesn’t know his power. He loves to play and please. He’s unbelievably intelligent and had I not trained him we would have to give him up.
I took him with me to some secluded tennis courts a few weeks back. My buddy and I hit for three hours. Rocco didn’t stop running around the courts the entire time. Every so often he’d come hunting our tennis ball because he just needed to be in the action. On command he’d give it back in exchange for his squeaky ball.

Thanks! Yeah, I get a lot of compliments on Bosco's looks and coloring when I take him for his evening walks too. He's definitely a chick magnet.Wow that is a gorgeous dog. Amazing coloring.
The ladies definitely love Liam (My corgi).
Can't go anywhere without him getting massive attention.
Girls definitely love corgis. Liam is my personal dog. Thanks! Yeah, I get a lot of compliments on Bosco's looks and coloring when I take him for his evening walks too. He's definitely a chick magnet.
That's funny your dog is named Liam. If you start going by "The Jesus" you can re-enact this great scene from The Big Lebowski:Girls definitely love corgis. Liam is my personal dog.
We’ve got three family doggos -
Kota-German Shep Husky pictured above
Ajax - Jack Russell Pug
Max- Black Lab
They’re all best buddies and get along well.
Hahaha yeah I named him after my grandfather who passed before I got him. I also named Ajax (after the Trojan war Ajax)That's funny your dog is named Liam. If you start going by "The Jesus" you can re-enact this great scene from The Big Lebowski:
"Liam and me, we're gonna **** you up!"
I guess it's good that I didn't get a breed that's known to dig. Bosco has dug a few holes, but nothing like that. He's mainly frustrating on walks and he chews like all of his toys up. We started going to HomeGoods and Marshall's to get cheaper priced toys because we would literally buy toys from Petco/Petsmart and that same day Bosco would tear them apart...Hahaha yeah I named him after my grandfather who passed before I got him. The other two were rescues when they were real young and we kept their names because they were getting used to them already. Plus it just felt right to keep them.
Love all four of them! Great dogs. Kota is definitely the biggest handful and mischievous one though lol. She can be a bit of a headache with her theatrics.
One time Kota dug like 40 holes in the backyard and watched intently as I refilled each hole laboriously. Not but 15 minutes later she was digging them back up.
