depends on how well you look after them, and surfaces you play on. Last season was fairly wet (pretty similar to every other uk football season!) and we play all our matches on grass, meaning boots get completely soaked and covered in mud after every game. if they're not washed, then the boot gets stiff quickly and leather is more likely to crack, and generally boot deteriorates quicker. but i usually wash them and rub this stuff called dubbin in, which kind of protects the leather and helps them last longer. but even so, full match plus at least two, hour and a bit training sessions a week for about 6 months means mine were pretty much gone by new year. with adidas boots, i found the leather on the toe area of the boot pulls away from the sole plate, especially if you drag your toe when passing, shooting etc. but mine also split along the instep, which lead to copious amounts of shoo goo!
