crash, I have 3 of the Czech PC600s. I'd have to say my favorite right now is either the Classic Mid or the "Made in Austria" buttcap sticker batch. As for which one plays closest to the Czechs, that depends. If you count results after the hit, then they're all fairly similar. However, the feel is quite different.

ok thanks, I guess I'll get more czech pc600 from tw then...since the Classic Mid and "made in Austria" ones are pretty hard to find.

That being said, I felt the Czech batch played best at tensions in the mid-low 40s, much lower than my preferred tensions with the other batch.

Yes I felt that too. I usually string my racquets at 58, but with this one i went to 56 and i'll probably go lower next time.

Just a short overview of my "remaining" rackets...

Played approx. until 1993 finally with HEAD's Graphite Pro 600 (started with PUMA Boris Becker Junior, ADIDAS Ivan Lendl GTX-Pro Junior, PUMA Boris Becker Super etc.) and made a big break of approx. 12 years.

Then I started again trying a bit playing in 2005 with "something" called HEAD Titanium 5000.

From 2006 on I played with HEAD's Liquidmetal Prestige Mid and just switched to BABOLAT's Pure Storm Team (the outer right racket just arrived).

Hewitt Aussie, how would you say the hornet and the flexpoint instinct compare

Actually when i switched from the hornet to the instinct, it felt similar. But you could notice the flexpoint instinct was much better. Then when i broke my instinct strings once(only have one), i switched back to the hornet, and i couldnt play with it because the instinct was that much better. I put up with it though.
Hope that helps.

oh okay, i guess it does look old school. those older sticks catch my eye. i think because i'm overwhelmed by the huge number of frames out these days. or maybe i'm just getting old. btw whereabouts in australia are you all?

what kind of nikes are those chris in japan?

how do you like the states hewitt aussie? hope its not too rough being surrounded by seppos. haha. we are pretty different all over the country although you might think we're all the same. when i was in australia, aussies would ask me if i could tell the difference between aussies from vic or nsw or sa and i swear i couldn't but they thought it was like night and day.

They are the Nike T-LITE V SL..

They are actually an aerobics (or fitness) shoe but have a tennis sole, and the lightest damn shoe I have had on my feet period..

They honestly feel like paper in the hand, but are your normal tennis sinth leather..

I also like the plainness to them.. Plus I have never seen them on anyone else... I bought 4 pairs..

Ha ha ha, I just realised that I posted the pics that I did, thinking that it was the "Post pictures of your gear" thread.. Anyway, that is my gear, and I said, I dont pack all when I go play..

As for my collection, I used to have about 16 Puma and Estusa frames. But I sold it off and only kept a Puma Super and Winner. And I also have a rare red frame Puma X-TRA Super.

I also have an Adidas Delta Club II 95, Rossignol R-90, Rossignol F-200 Carbon (Mats Wilander), Wilson Pro Select, Dunlop Max 200G, 3 x Yonex R-22's, Prince Magnesium Pro 90 (Pat Cash), 2 Prince o3 Tour 95, Prince TT Warrior, 3 x Wilson High Beam series, Prince Graphite Pro 90, and a few others back in Aus...

Here is my collection. A couple of these rackets are pretty rare and cool, others are pretty common. My favorites are: PC600, LM Prestige Mid and Mps, LM Radical Tour Mp, Adidas NTP 90K (my first graphite racket), Fischer PRO#1, Wilson 6.1 Tours, Yonex RDS001 Mids, Yonex RDS002 Mp, Dunlop McEnroe Maxply (it has permanent marker markings on the grip), and Babolat Pure Drive Anniversary Edition.
