Those were my all time favorite shoes. I played with them throughout HS. They sure didn't hold up worth a flop though. The soles were made of pencil erasers or something. I bought this pair back in the mid-nineties. I've only worn them about 5 times since. I put them on the other day & my wife literally laughed at me. She almost wouldn't let me out of the house with them on.

I just came back to tennis after a 6 year break. The Prince Power Pro 90's were my go-to racquets previously, but I found myself needing a lighter, more powerful frame. Hence the Pure Storm. It was love at first hit for me. I demo'd many different frames but they were either too heavy w/out enough oompf or too light & too powerful. The Pure Storm just felt fantastic & hit like a dream. I've since strung it with Wilson Sensation & hope use it this weekend.

what are the shoes called? are they out of production now?

They are the original Nike Air Trainers. McEnroe & Agassi made them popular back in the late 80's/ early 90's. They are long out of production although Nike did bring them back a few years ago, but with a different color scheme.

Yes, I want to try the RDS 500 MP. I regret having sold my PK Heritage type c MP and the Redondo type c mid.

Hey Bogie, nice sticks, but what's with the red tape that's an inch below the other tape on the overgrips?

Ok, i'll re-phrase the question: I can see the tape that is taped around the top of the overgrip, but why is there more red tape an inch further down the grip? Is it for looks, or some other purpose?

lol...you obviously haven't seen skraggles collection...

lol by the time i get on to check the thread some of you guys have answered all the questions posed to me . to answer pnoy, the torneos are great shoes for the price. traction is probably the best i've ever played in and they are very comfortable and for the price you really can't go wrong. and i think dewey has already answered ajk1's question. yes, i have a 1hb and i dont really need the grip too long so i overlap it a bit more and tape it at the end as i dont need much room at the top. if you guys have any questions about the tecnifibres or anything else u see, let me know. ill be glad to give any help i can.

bratha that looks like 3.2

I'm sorry guys, but I don't understand how some of you have so many frames. I only have two m-fil 200s and a HM 200g. I don't have the means to post pics, but I'm simply amazed by some of these collections. How do you get the money, why do you need 30+ frames, different models etc?

nice collection there. How do they play compared to each other? I'm using the Yonex, I'm thinking about the redondo, and getting the Prostaff Tour for a friend as well.

Also, How does the Becker dampener feel?

Thanks

thanks

first, the dampener sucks to be honest. ive tried a PK worm dampener it also was pretty bad. the best ive used is the yonex (but you cant get them from tw).

the redondo is inbetween the yonex and the PS in terms of feel and overall playability. I found the PS way too heavy for me to use (im 15, 5'5", 125 lbs), but it was an ok frame. however it did leave my elbow tingling a lot and hurting after i was done playing (fyi, the PD almost put me in a cast :D lol jk, but the PS was just as bad as the PD for shoulder/elbow pain).

the yonex is a great racket, but i find it too flimsy against heavy hitters. it has a more muted feel than the PK. I havent hit with the PK yet on a court (just hitting and breaking things in the house with it), but ill probably take it over all 3.

once i hit with it ill write a review with it and the yonex. to me, the PS tour 90 doesnt deserve to be compared to the other two. thats just my biased opinion :)

but for you i think you'll like the redondo. swings easier than the yonex but is heavier.

(btw i have the MP's of both, not the mids)

I see you are bring Sexy back too...

lol i see so are you... except for the orange SPPP ;)

duzza i was going to ask you if you've tried cyberflash, because i personally like it more than SPPP, but i was wondering what other people would think...

mick.

nice! have you played with them yet? how are they? :)

nope, not yet. they are nice and look better in real life than in pictures. I posted in the other thread that I thought the 4 1/2 grip size on this racket is smaller than the 4 1/2 grip size on my wilson prostaff 6.0, 6.1, ncode six-one. It's just an observation, I am not complaining.

yeah, but ...but, we only get to see the cover (whine)

pictures of the racquet plzzz! :D

Here you go:

Head Andre Agassi Radical Limited Edition

dude i have played with it only 3 times... ahhhh, i know, i know! Don't kill me! Since i have been playing more indoor (weather) and doubles, i have been using the other sticks. Unfortunately, the MF3... do i dare say... may have to go. i have been toiling with this all week. My pro-shop has a used RDX 500 mp real cheap, i could use to back up my other stick... string 'em differently for doubles and singles. If i do sell the MF3, i will let you guys in the club know first.:( :(

Drop me off an email jcs.. I'm probably not going to be interested in buying it until later probably like mid-spring cause my parents are gonna be on my ass, haha.. Since I already bought a second one and they'll be like "NO!! You don't need another one!" haha..

Yeah I have Lead currently on 3/9 o'clock and at 12 o'clock. No I don't have any in the handle, I was thinking about it but, I was playing very well without anything inside the handle. Seems to fit better for me.

Um, I have around 4g on each side 3/9 o'clock and around 3g at 12 o'clock I believe.. Seems a bit much doesn't it..
