It's actually very closely related to the Wilson Pro Staff Midsize.
going to string it up today
Cool depth of field shot
Where did you get that Head bag?! I've been wanting one ever since I've laid my eyes on it.
Here's a picture of the Prestige Pro, Elite Pro and Electra Pro.
Great pic, Dino.
Hey, one can dream right? Besides, there are a lot of fools out there.
Thank you, I think photography is more difficult than tennis though... :-?
Dino, have to ask - you have such a large, varied and comprehensive collection - which frame is your favorite?
my new toy
Just bought them all yesterday.
My favorite? That's a very hard question, and I don't think I could pick just one (on the other hand the one I have used the most for the last year or so is the Head Radical Tour 630 ( 1998 ). So here's my top-12, in no particular order :
Puma Davis Cup (From the Super mold)
Fischer Vacuum Elliptic Pro
Head Radical Tour 630 ( 1998 )
Yonex Super-RD Tour 90
Donnay Pro Ceramic
Donnay Pro International
Völkl C10 Comp Mid
These are based from a playing point of view, but there are of course many others that are special to me like a couple of pro stocks.
id appreciate them more........in my bag
that speed is my favorite paintjob so far
I recently picked up a Boris Becker Super - is it very different to your Puma? What do you like about it? I am looking forward to hitting with it. Do you know what the screw is good for?
post a pic! the screw is to change the tension
My first time replacing a grip. Turned out great!
Any chance you can do a mini-review of the F3.0 Tour? Compare it to the P1 even? In a different thread of course!
I will post a pic as soon as I back from vacation, racket is being strung meanwhile. And I am looking forward to testing it, though grip size is one too big for me.
Wilson Steam 99S
Aw, that was a good picture though!
I brought it back.
yeah, why the delete?
Konami cheat code in physical form?
Excuse my crappy dorm floors (the carpet is impossible to clean).
My collection of Aeros.
Here's a link to a wonderful website, where the PCS system (the screw) is explained:
I also have the Super (and Winner), and I really like those racquets too. It seems to me that the Davis Cup I have is slightly lighter and swings a little lighter too. But as I said, the Super is a great racquet.
anyone seen the new blx blade 18x20 with the 16x19 actual pattern?! looks completely stock but then you go 'oh cool'
Whats with the AT on each stick?
Just received these stuff from gamma from the facebook giveaway
i guess his initials?
very nice! which rzr is it? gamma makes good string
That reminds me. I just fell in DEEP love with the Gamma RZR 100 while demoing it out. With the DOZENS of racquets i was trying out that day, the only one that stuck out was the Gamma RZR 100...... If only i checked what string it was strung with.
really??? i didnt like it when i tried it. but it wasnt strung to my liking
I have the same prestige never strung and plastic on handle in XL and another PT10 XL liquidmetal paintjob...
This one is the 98t. i playtested the black racket(prototype). notice that the swingweight was high, but it suits me well since i like rackets with a very high swingweight. my ps 6.1 90 and k90 have a swingweight of 350s.
cool! the new paintjobs are pretty sweet
Did someone say......FEDERER!!!

P.S FEDERER ROCKS!!!

quote of the month!
Left to right: Prince Spectrum, 2 bumperless POG OS's, 2 POG 1 stripe Mids, Prince CTS Graduate, Babolat Pure Drive, Spalding GC 20, Wilson Profile 2.7, POG 1 Stripe Mid, Prince THunderBolt, Yamaha Secret 04, 2 Prince Ripsicks.
On the ground front to back: Prince Boron w/ bumper, Prince Boron no bumper both with their leather cases, woodie Wilson Jack Kramer - never used, 2 Donnay unreleased X-Platinum 94's - one with plastic still on the leather handle, Donnay X-Dual Gold 99
missing a bumper 1 stripe POG OS that I traded away and am getting back (my buddy gave me a beat ProStaff Classic with the bevels screwed up which I found out after I took the overwraps off
How do those donnay's hit for you?
I demo'd a bunch ~ year ago. Found them eerily similar to some older pro staff mids but with less feel. A bit too muted, damp. Could have been the demo strings.
Thanks! Love the Donnay's! Very old school feel but faster through the air. I string them very loose (well the Gold is new to me and will be re-strung at 30lbs) and they work fantastic for me. No shock to the arm or wrist.
I'm not giving up the vintage Princes but the Donnay's are my main players now.
What are your go-to sticks? Always looking out for new racquet thrills!
Nice collection you have there. how do the non-POG princes compare to the POG in terms of feel?
Never tried Donnay, but it seems from your comments that I should add them to the list!
Won't never serve flat (**with wet hands**) again...
Hey, maybe you can actually tell us if there's basalt in the frame?
Separate names with a comma.
