the 2 YT Radical Pro are 11.5oz strung but don't have a grip on them.
i havent hit with them yet so not sure on flex but probably similar feel to the flex of the speed pros i got, which play softer than a 68
actually bro. they are pro stock. i have the Graphene PJ here with me today but all 4 of mine have matching pro stock stickers in the throat, with the silicone injected handles and full codes on the pallets.
they did make a euro only release of this frame, but the ones i have are a bit different as I said.. little more flexible it seems even with all the customization
i cant do this thread anymore. so sad
yea they are cool man. i really like tinkering around with them normally, but found the new speeds i have exactly to be weight wise / balance wise right what i wanted which pleasantly surprised me
im going to let the 2 YT radical pros go fairly cheap BTW
**** does a GREAT job. Roman has done about 6-8 racquets for me over the last bunch of years. ALWAYS top notch service.hey man sorry no i haven't had a chance. I'm going to **** and going to have them all spec'ed out.
they have silicone in the handles and there is lead under the grommets stretching from about 11:00 to 1:00
i would say they are around 345 grams unstrung. Balance of 315mm. My TGT 292.1 prestige mids are 321mm balance, and the speeds slightly more headlight. this was great as I was looking for something a little easier to snap. the listed spec flex is 68, but these ones feel softer and more flexible than that. i don't have the exact reading though
Excuse my ignorance, I have always played with Wilsons so I do not have much knowledge on the head pro stocks, but it was the yt radical pros that you thought were 345g and with a supposed flex of 68? Or were you referring to a different frame? The 68 flex is what sells it to me, I like a stiff racquet
I was referring to the speeds there. However the YT rads and all of my recent posts are pro stock frames. I don't know what the specs of the rad are other than weight but hopefully getting more info later this week unless someone buys them on the other forum

A friend just started getting hooked up by Solinco. I notice you use there stuff, he got me a couple of the pro 8's (which I love) and when asked for string I told him tour bite.
Holy smokes. Stuff is awesome. Super snappy balls, they look like they drop off at a right angle. I've had multiple people mention it since I switched. Great stuff.
Under which user name are your sticks listed "on the dark side" ;-)?
yes thats great to hear
their frames are under rated. i really like the black proto they sent me.
try the silver rough when it comes out in a few weeks. im going to be doing a little trivia contest here in the next few days for a few trial sets of it. stay tuned![]()

All the Solinco racquets have an RA above 66, that's stiff to my sensitive elbow. Do they play softer than that?

i dont find them to play stiff. the proto they sent me was almost too flexy haha. however their retail frames i would say do play softer than their listed RA
First off, the packaging is incredible, most especially the goat keychain.
But they need to amend the slogan to 'Developed with pro players, for pro players. Who wear other shoes.'
haha well i dont pick the slogan
they keychain is GOAT for sure, its also a USB device which is awesome
SHOE-SB device![]()
Isn't Richie wearing Head shoes in the near future? I think I read that somewhere.
My Head Liquidmetal Instinct Tour XL frames and Head Tour Team Monstercombi bag. Racquets are strung with Tourna Big Hitter Silver Rough at 58 pounds, feature a TW 22mm x 1300mm x 1.3mm leather grip, Tournagrip, and SampDamp.
Original buttcaps were replaced with generic Head buttcaps. This is due to the fact that the original silver disk inlay on the original buttcaps tend to pop out during play.

Seth, those are some gorgeous frames. Did you ever play with the standard version of the LM Instinct?
I've never hit with the Tour, but the standard is a sweet frame given how light it is, in my opinion. I have a pair with almost no wear on them that are just sitting in an old bag. Your post really makes me want to bust them out for a hitting session.A high school teammate of mine used the standard LM Instinct for several years before switching to Yonex, so I had a lot of opportunities to try it out. This was back when the LM Instincts were brand new. I really enjoyed the standard version, especially the fairly dense (18x19) pattern in a tweener frame. My only complaint was that it was too light.
Some years later I tried the XLs and really enjoyed the plow through coming from the extra weight and leverage. Recently I found a nice deal on The Bay for brand new Instinct Tour Xls, so I took the plunge.

What's the grip size on these?
L4.
I usually use L3, but on old Prince models i find L4 more "comfortable"...
Very nice frames. What made you switch from the Changs?
My Tour XLs are L5. If that worked for you I'd be tempted to swap.![]()
I left the Changs because during the last 4 years what i really wanted was the POG 100'' longbodies but i was unable to find them. A few months ago opportunity struck and i bought them and the Changs were left abandoned and i ended up selling them.
I'll never trade or sale these, they'll break from excessive use when i'm close to my 50s (still 30 years of endless tennis until that happens)
I feel that well playing with them.
I would've jumped on four POGLBs too. I hope they hold up for you in the coming decades. Be sure to pick them up as you find them, lest you have to find something new in your 50s.![]()
And each cost 20€ with the plastic wrap around the grip. I felt like i was stealing... I got all the POGLB the seller had, lucky for me they were L4s.
The guy selling them didn't had a clue about he was selling, and i wasn't the one who's gonna tell him
I felt the same! heh but... Shhhhsh! he might be lurking around here.... or drop by... ;-)
