No LiquidMetal, VS?
No LM. I sold mine a while ago. It was not something I liked.
oh wow, somebody liked their PS85s heavy ;-) what's the grip size on these? 5?
My rep gave me the same set, and I have to admit, I really do like the shoes. I had never liked or enjoyed any Head shoes before, but these are fantastic.
have you tried to see whats on the usb?
Trouble is I need an adapter, it's to fat to fit, lol
Oh.. the socks are great!
Good job though!
My BLX 90 Tours, absolutely love the feel and plow through of these racquets !

First I didn't really like the cosmetics nor feeling of hitting compare to K90.
But it started to grow on me and now it provides such great comfort to hit and I love the cosmetics as well.
My favorite is still K90 and wish Wilson to resell them but I also like BLX90 for back-up.
Great collections![]()
I used every single tour 90s haha, used to love the ncode 90s, had 4 of them. I didn't like the K90, or PS BLX90, or the newest 2014 tour 90, all these are too stiff for me, and have too much power. I like the BLX90 b/c of the low power, solid feel, and great comfort. Why do you like the K90s?
what hybrid are you playing with these?
I just got an offer from a friend to buy his hardly used BLX 6.1 Tour for 50€ and I'm really considering it (rather, it's set in my mind that I'll get it even if I have to hunger :lol![]()
The string is in my signature, Global Gut 16/Pro's Pro Red Devil 1.24 @ 48/45 lbSome like the stiffer feel of K90 and PS90, I prefer the flexible and low powered feel of BLX90

I prefer low powered and plush, so I guess that makes the BLX90 a winner for me
About damn time the BLX90 gets some love here. People are always quick to bash how dead and mute these frames are, little did they know how insanely comfortable they are. And it's a Pro Staff, there's plenty of feel in these frames.
They are still my favorite Pro Staff 90 to date.
Yeah most people like the super stiff K90, because they feel more "Konnected" to the racquet. I absolute hate the K90, and my previous favorite was the the N90, which is about as flexible as the BLX90, but doesn't have the same amount of plow through.
Personally, K90, same as the PS BLX90 and the Tour 90 2014, are stiff to a point anything other than hitting the sweetspot feels very dead and wrist breaking. BLX90, instead, feels very soft and plush. The power level is plenty, and it's such a joy to hit groundstrokes with.
I currently have 5, and plan to acquire more used ones and customize them to my spec with lead tape. I also switched out the original Wilson Leather for the thinnest TW branded leather grip for a more "tight" grip feel.
I don't think the differences between the different versions of Pro Staff 90's are as big as you say they are. Of course, that's completely subjective and no one is right or wrong. But to me, the differences between them are marginal at best. If you can play with one, then you can play with the other one in a heartbeat. But yes, the BLX90 is the softest/plushiest of them all.
I've got 4 of them, how much do you want for them?

LoL, i got each of mine for about $50-60 on the Bay  I don't think you wanna sell yours at such a low price lol
Damn right I don't, they're relatively scrap/scratch free. I was going to ask for $200 each.
I'm not selling my frames, don't ban me TT. Haha
Same racquets I've had for a while but after experimenting with the built up butt I've decided to stick with it. It's not as extreme as when I started out but it still feels substantial in the hand and very secure when serving and hitting ground strokes. I've also added lead at 10 and 2 to bump up the swingweight to something similar to my old YT Radical Pros. Three have my normal string job but I'm trying full RPM Team 17 at 43 lbs.

Yeah well what a shame. But it's OK. These weren't too popular to begin with, especially compare to the popular K90, I doubt Wilson sold too many BLX90s. As a result, these are harder to come by on the Bay than the other tour 90s. I bought my 1st one new years and years ago, but kept playing with N90 until last year, until I realized BLX90 is better feeling. By that time the prices were already $50-70 each on the Bay though lol.
Most used ones aren't in very good shape, I had to clean them up with alcohol and buy new grommets for them. Luckily Wilson hasn't changed the string pattern over the last few years since K90 came out  muhahahahaha!

Don't you know this by now? Popularity of one's frame is determined by how many grand slams it's won?
Since BLX90 only won 1 major, it's considered as s***.![]()
Very nice GasquetGOATGrip. Digging the Millenium Falcon as well.

These look NICE !Leading up the Volkl 10 is def a good choice, I tried my friend's PB10 a few times, the feel is amazing but just lacked power and plow through, I see you added so much lead to the frame LOL.
One of them looks like it has Natural Gut/Poly combo, how does it feel on that racquet compare to the RPM Team ? And how heavy is your customized PB10?
Yeah the PB 10 needs a little extra muscle when stretched wide and the lead accomplished that. The specs are
364 grams
335 swingweight
30.9 cm balance
There is nothing like the natural gut/poly combo and I was a fool to try anything different. As soft as RPM Team feels after ten minutes my wrist was feeling the sting. Performance wise it's great. Great spin, great power but I get the same with the combo plus incredible comfort. Also the combo plays well for at least 6-8 weeks and durability is above average. Well at least I know I'm done with full poly. Shame I wasted the string.
I totally forgot about Polystar. I tested a set for stringforum and that was the softest, liveliest poly I've ever tried. I'm never gonna ditch gut but that might make for an excellent cross when I run out of RPM Team. I like the string but that's a lot of money to pay for a cross.

you know you been here for a long time when i can remember your last post with the bar and counter top and star wards posters
I personally don't like Babolat strings, the performance isn't that good, and they are expensive. There are other popular poly strings good for hybriding with gut, Yonex Poly Tour Pro, Volkl Cyclone, Signum Pro Poly Plasma, Topspin Cyberblue, Polystar Energy.
I personally use Pro's Pro Red Devil, cheapest one of them all. $33/reel each average bought from UK  It's really soft, medium power, really good feel. It's similar to Tecnifibre Pro Red Code, but a little softer. Only downside is it only stays playable for 10-15 hours max, but aren't most polys?
And the pink Wii controller.
What do you think of Focus Hex. I've heard good things about that one as a cross.

I kind of agreeYour leather grips are installed in kind of a weird way. Interested to hear what benefit you get from 'em.
I kind of agree
Interesting Setup. How did you raise the butt up? How much weight did it add?
