My most used string setup is Luxilon Big Banger Original 1.30mm, 56/54 lbs, but now I'm trying the Alu Power Ice Blue 1.25mm and I think I'll switch...took off the replacement grip, I'm using 2 Wilson overgrips on a bare handle. 12g of silicone in the handle to compensate, 4g of lead at 3, 9 and 12 o'clock...bumped the swingweight to 360 with a static weight of 342g (strung). Balance is 33cm strung.

Aka the pseudo Guga

G'aaahhh got to hit with the APDC+, it's easy and it creates monster spin.

I’ve never really liked any plus length racquets before, but if I had an exception; it would be this one. The Cortex APD is a underrated frame imo. It’s also one of my all time favorite Babolat APD/PA PJ next to the OG and ‘15 RG APD.

Agree, it's a beast. Out of all the pj's of the aero's, the cortex is my favorite.

Waiting for the illegal dampener positioning comments ;-)
Hey! Nobody's noticed in any of my matches. ;)

yeah, green o-grips not soo good, but i have to use them
theyve also been in the box too long, if i dont use them they will dry up,, still felt good in this moderate heat
took these out for a hit this week
threw in some fresh multi strings @57lbs, on them,, they felt like sweet-butter at contact
i like serving with these sticks, and of course the 1HBH

what did you think of the gamma jet??
i tried to get a review of the string going a few months back, nothing came of it

Still too early to tell and I need to add some lead to that stick, wanted to hit it stock to see how I would like it since it’s been a while-nope. Needs lead for sure. I’ll update when I get more time with the Jet. Initial impressions are good though!

Thought that I might bring my little contribution to this nice thread.

Here's my latest acquisition thanks to Langdon0555 : three fabulous Fischer Pro Classic 98 from the mid-nineties. All perfectly matched, thank you Fischer.

And guess what : I find them so beautiful that I don't dare playing with  !

It reaches all the way to the ground... impressive.:-D;)

All jokes aside, I love the look of those racquets... just not sure where they would sit when compared to my 95D, Ezone DR98, and RDiS 100 MP.

The VCORE 95 looks amazing. I wish we could get the shiny prostock color though. On a side note, I love the old Babolat stencil on my VCORE. Came out better than I expected.

Looked like it with the Yonex red frame and the leather grip. Shoes don't match though, hope for you that the backhand does

Melting? No no. It holds up better than the paint jobs on Wilson Blade's. If that's a decent reference. It's a matte finish so I'm not sure how it would melt. But I'm in San Diego where 80 degrees is a hot day. Haha.

No bubbles. And I leave my rackets in my car which bakes in the sun for 8+ hours a day. Must be near 100 degrees in there. Whoever had that problem must be in some crazy weather.
