How much distance is required in your “social distancing”? I don’t recall last time I was within 15+ ft from my tennis opponent or the guy next court...Social Distancing
Took the Muscle Weaves out of the stash, unwrapped the grips, cleaned the sticks out, regripped with Head Tour leather and Head Super Comp overgrips. Restrung them too.
Only to put right back in the closet.
I miss down south so much sometimes! It is still indoor tennis up here in Northern Michigan right now. No chance we can play outside at least till end of next month. How much distance is required in your “social distancing”? Hope the weather improves soon
No stopping for us in Dallas (except today - rain)
If you like the Wilson Pro and want thicker you should try Tourna Mega Tac, it’s exactly what you’re looking for and lasts longer than Wilson Pro.
I am missing playing tennis so much, that I desperately try to stay in touch with them and try out new grips
First time ever, I will try a leather grip. I am missing on my new Blade 98 v7 the feel of the bevels and also I want the racket to be more HL.
I bought on Amazon OEHMS leather premium, which are even smelling like high quality when opening. The leather feels very soft and gentle when touching. Installing it was harder than I thought. At the beginning it startet to roll a bit so I had to pull harder, but eventually I think I did an OK job (in the middle I was tying once with too much overlap).
I also bought for the first time the very popular Tourna Overgrip (XL). I like the Wilson Pro OG a lot, but I needed 2 OG's on my Blade to prevent blisters. I am sure after this long abstinence of tennis my blisters will come back then.. even more so with leather now as the basic grip.
Any tips.. which OG is thicker, softer to skin? Wilson or Tourna? I am afraid two OG's now will shift balance too much and add to much added weight.
It is. It has the exact specs of all the other RF97 versions. I realize that some feel that the different iterations are not exactly the same.Gorgeous, Geoff! Is that the prototype RF97 at 10 o clock? I always wondered if the current all black RF97 is exactly same as that prototype.
It's sad that it never saw any TV time due to his injured season and switch to the larger 97. Because the 2014 Pro Staff 90 was easily the best version of the 90. It took them almost a decade, but with the 2014, they finally nailed the feel of the 6.0 85 into the frame of the 90.Amazing collection. You're missing a 2014 PS90, though I guess that's why you have an extra 2013.
I was able to get one to hit with before the release and agree with you @Say Chi Sin LoIt's sad that it never saw any TV time due to his injured season and switch to the larger 97. That rubbery goo! Those sticks left in back of a hot car would start melting! I like how you called it hotmess. Played very nice though for sure.
Rubber paint for a tennis racquet is always a bad ideaI played briefly with the HotMess version during high school.
Yes, just Google Federer Hyper Prostaff and browse for images. One of threads you'll find is this one: https://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/index.php?threads/federers-racquets-and-pjs-history.214291/Did Federer ever play with a Hyper PS 6.1 (or at least that's what I think that is, next to the PS85)?
It is a 97sq inch head. I asked about that racquet as well. It's the prototype Fed was using before making the switch to RF97. Basically Geoff said above that it has the exact same specs as RF97.Is the black frame between 2014 rf97 and PS90 a prototype Fed stick of 93 head ?
