Was this a hinted present or was she monitoring the release date? Lol.
Now you got 6 bumblebees in the bag heh, how will you choose!
I just got lucky really. Was staring at the laptop screen lost in my own thoughts with browser open on TW's PAVS page. She just walked in, saw and asked if I wanted them for my birthday. Now I'm thinking I should have been on the page for the new Seadoo I've been eyeing :cautious:

One of my bags definitely has some yellow accent sticks going on in large numbers. Maybe a good omen for the upcoming 360+ Extreme? I know I'll end up owning that one anyway, haha.

Haha that’s awesome. I know it’s not the thread but let us know how these compare to your APDs.. I know you didn’t like the PA’s too much and I imagine demo time may be hard during this time!

‘Tis why I may be grabbing a 360+ Prestige Mid later today without a demo. lol...

Just a classic from KB. Andre made this thing famous back in the day, so I thought it deserved to be posted here.

P.S. If I played same way as 15 years ago, mostly flat with classical strokes, I would probably take it out and do some competitive hits.
But now it is not that easy to keep up on clay courts against young spin-machines. Though, I might string it put it on my bag an give it to go for some casual hit.
P.P.S. I am just shocked by quality of paint. It is second to none.

Did you demo the Mid and the MP by any chance? I'm really interested in buying when the price gets marked down at the end of the year but am torn. I'm really leaning towards the Pro because of the 95" head but I play with a 93" now and probably won't be that much different but just curious. Also, what's the weight with leather + OG?

I demo'd both the mid and the MP, yes.

The Mid to me felt like it would be a great racquet if the demo had different strings (it was strung with Tour Bite 16L at 51 lbs and felt like a board). With the super dead string setup like that my shots always lacked power, depth, and spin. It didn't feel too terribly nice in terms of the vibration I received either with mishits (I'm not used to a 93", it was bound to happen). It cut through the air nicely though with the thinner beam, it definitely still felt like a classic racquet.

The same basic things can be said for the MP (it was strung the same way as the mid), but the bigger head was noticeable (in a good way!) compared to the mid. The 18 x 20 string pattern is fairly wide in this compared to say, a Blade V7 18 x 20.

The Pro to me, swings similarly to RF97's while being lighter by a SIGNIFICANT amount. Plenty of plow through and stability, which is nice. In terms of weight, all strung and with the leather grip, overgrip, and dampener, they each weigh in at 12.1 oz, while my RF's are all around the 12.8/9 range.

They're all not bad feeling racquets at all. I think all the new Prestiges don't feel hollow in the throat or anything like that compared to Head's other racquets right now, which is great.

I'm going to try a gut/poly hybrid at a maybe....52/50 next and see how it goes. I have great confidence they'll play a LOT better with that setup.

It weighs in at 11.4 oz without an replacement grip on. Has a 98 sq inch head with 16x19 pattern and 24 mm constant beam. No idea who makes it as the brand is just wimbledon. When I was hitting with it in the past it felt like a lower to mid 60s flex. This one is called Eclipse with "Professional 88" series written on the inside, I assume its the year it was made
I used it for couple of years back in hs before switching to ps85. It had a huge sweetspot, quite comfortable and stable too. too bad the model was shortlived

sorry to drag this old post up dude - just wanted to ask if the MG Radical MP is the original or the reissue?
do you have a pix of the top grommet, or is there a way to tell differences between the original and reissue? (can't remember when was the original released and discontinued...lol)
thanks

No worries - not sure if they are the old or the new. I'll take some photo's and post them up. When we get a hit in I'll bring them with so you can check them out.

Seems incredibly heavy. Another reason I wish they made it 11oz so it could be customized easier. Where'd you get the grip? I used Fairway on mine

yea it would have been interesting to get a lighter platform version of this mold. However, I felt like it was begging for a bit more mass after swinging it. I don't find it cumbersome at all, but I have played with heavy rackets for a long time. My buddy gets Head frames but doesn't like the FC so he sends them to me and swaps them with whichever one he plays with I can't remember exactly. I gladly accept them when they arrive haha

If everyone else is posting pics of their blades.. here’s my two babies. The top one was brand new when I bought it months ago. Second one is a beat up but bargain backup.

Wilson leather grip underneath. 10g of silicone in each. Grapplesnake your sniper at 55/52 lbs.

Maybe it’s too early in the morning for me but what is FC?
