Post Pictures of your Racquets and Tennis Gear

Looks like each have some out with one. I wonder how they perform?

I got a Tumi billfold back in 2017. It still looks new. Smells great, too.

which of these are your favorite to play in? I’ve been struggling to find a shoe that fits properly. Back to vapors for the time being here

The Under Armour Andy Murray Clutch Fit's are the most comfortable i've ever worn. They are like slotting your feet into pillows.

I'm trying to create a string rating database for intermediate-to-more advanced players (not for advanced or pros). I've only been playing tennis for almost 3 years. Learned everything from a YouTube channel, 12kgp.

Got many string sets. I expect some Solinco and Head sets sometime soon. Only 2 rackets for now. I expect to deliver a Head Boom Pro (I've actually ordered) this week. I pretty much like all Head frames. Next to Head, I like Yonex rackets.

I'd like to get my hands on the Solinco Blackout 300 XTD, since I've never played with an extended frame.

*The Artengo TR960 seems interesting, but Decathlon Greece doesn't care promoting the TR series. What a shame for such competitive priced frames not getting promoted. Even if I ordered one (in a grip size I don't prefer, but available) I couldn't be sure if it's actually available and when I would deliver it.

You buy all those strings or getting some comp'd because of your influencer status?

Also, what's your UTR? Im always curious to know the approximate skill level of the various reviewers to help out things into context

@Soundbyte I've paid for the Polystar and the Signum Pro sets. They were on my to-do-list before December 2021, when I started my project.

All the rest came to me free-of-charge except for the shipping and customs costs for the Komodo, Tier One and YTex package of strings (I'm located in Greece).

I've ordered a Head Boom Pro last week, because I got in touch with Head and they said they'll send me strings and balls (I'd hope for a racket, too).

I was considering the Solinco Blackout XTD, just to mix-it-up a bit, but it's unavailable in 3 European sites I've searched. If Solinco had responded earlier than Head, I would most propably order the Whiteout (98 sq inch, 16*19).

I've bought the Easy Stringer to save-up money from stringjobs and like the procedure at the same time.

I'm for sure a 4.5-to-5.0 player. My feedback is about intermediate players or a little better than that. I think I represent a large slice of the market-pie.

Of course, with some strings I wasn't able to fully exploit their playability, for example the Diadem Pro-X and the Dyreex Pro Player, but I mention why in my reviews.

4.5-5.0 after just 3 years of playing? I applaud your natural athletic ability and talent!!! Takes a fairly high level of athlete to reach 5.0 that fast. I'm jealous.

I think my technique is quite good, not having any guidance by a coach. Everything I do, I've memorized from YouTube.
Of course, I know for sure I cannot compete with players play multiple times a week for years. I have to improve my serve. I'm getting better in backhand slices from the baseline. I'm getting much better at the net (both sides), but I don't really care about competing, since I'm switching strings every 2-3 weeks. I'd have to stick with one setup for long time, which I don't want to.

Flat forehand. I'm now starting with the racketface parallel to the ground.

A mediocre one-handed backhand, as I haven't bent my right shoulder down enough (that's why is useful to record myself and see my faults).
Since Spring I've been starting my take-back much better with the head of the racket being upwards for better acceleration.
Here, my left hand doesn't go back enough after contact and I keep lifting my left foot too soon ro re-establish.

I've started hitting 2-handed backhands since last week more frequently.

I tend to wear the Asics Gel Res 8 though - solid pair of shoes that really last well. Comfortable and so much support. They come up a tad big..
There's some UA Clutch on the UK auction site now, claiming to have been worn by Murray presumably at Wimbledon as they have grasscourt soles. A mere snip at £10,000 asking price . . .

What's the weight and balance of that, with the caps?
No idea at the moment. Just got it. Ripped out the old, brittle white grommets. The ones from about half way down the head to the bridge were still in decent shape, and seem like they would handle a string job. Might actually try to put them back in (with a lot of finagling) and cut the CAP into just a head guard, because this thing is heavy. Felt heavy with the regular grommets, and the CAPs just make it that much more. There's no base grip, just an overgrip, so that reduces the weight a bit, but also makes it less headlight. I guess I won't really know anything until I string it up. Thinking a decent multi, maybe?

I was going to say about the CAPs. My 'L3' GPro is a hefty 366g, 33cm balanced without them. I'm looking for a 350g, 32cm balanced version!

couple early 90's Pro Kennex goodies. Identical mold, different layups. Glossy finish on the Jupiter, and very course, almost sandpaper like (like ceramic ya know?) on the Ceramic Tribute. 14x18 pattern and both very heavy! Can't wait to have an all Pro Kennex day at the court. a super underrated brand that never gets enough respect.

Bought off fleabay for cheap, head guard was scratched through so I added cap grommets, going to add TK82 L2 pallets to it, I have the set of TK57 L5 pallets that came off of it if any one is interested in them

I just put a new pallet on mine. Gotta wait for the weather to warm up before I get to hit. How much you pay for it?
