Post Pictures of your Racquets and Tennis Gear

Battle of the 100s today:

Ki5 aka Mithrandir will get a few grams on the handle to get it a bit more head light/maneuverable. Excellent stick.

Nova FS 100 is always SOLID.

TF-X1 is stiff and immediate.

Added a third chopper to the collection. They all have leather but the middle one is freshly on so snapped a pic before the overgrip ruins the black and tan vibe.

Middle one is NOS and unless it is just confirmation bias at play, it does play a bit crisper than the other two which have been 'ass grooved' over the years.

Love it. All 18x20?

This is the way. I also happen to have three of these, but they're all the reissues from TP's global site. Have one still wrapped in plastic, one strung up with solstice black that needs a restring, and the other I just popped the sensation it came with. That one I'm restringing with Solinco Revolution.

Been thinking about going the leather route too. I had my old 2015 16x19 set up with leather and i really liked it. Just haven't gotten around to it with the 18x20s. Partially cause I didn't have anything else I wanted to buy that would get me to free shipping. Feels kind wasteful just ordering some leather grips, only want to do one or two of them to start to see if I still like the feel.

Finally strung this up. What a beast! Haven’t had a chance to weigh it, but it has to be well over 13 oz. And it’s damn near even balance. Grip is too big, so I just have an overgrip on the handle. Don’t really want to add any more weight, but I may need to put some in the handle just to make the thing more headlight.

Those CAP grommets add a lot of swingweight and weight. I had to buy 3 and got one for free to get one with a swingweight to 330 (including CAPS)

I also created a second racquet using individual grommets in each hole but yet to string up - too many racquets, too little time.

The 3 and 4th one are sitting without grommets at the moment. Could do CAPs at ultra high SW or trimmed CAPS for high SW.

Man, tell me about it. It was beefy before the strings (but actually felt really nice). Surprisingly, the old white grommets on the side, up until where it meets the head guard, actually survived the years. No cracking or disintegration (those attached the head guard... not so much), so I might be able to wedge those back in there and trim the CAP to just a bumper. I mean, for the amount that I'm probably going to use it, it might not be worth it. But it's such a beautiful '80s stick.
