ummm thats grey.....
No it's not. It's Loyal Blue. Enter on NikeID site and try to configure a pair snd you will see the avsilable colour options.
No it's not. The Original Poster said it's grey and he likes the colour...
And I like gold colour...so what? I can't make them gold because the colour it's not available on Nike ID. www.nikeid.com
Hi, everything is grey, but I can't remember the exact name (maybe charcoal?). The fit frame is black, but in the photo it must be reflecting something lighter so it looks grey.
Looking through my emails I think this is the designID number: 292256340 I don't know if you can search on the NIKEiD site for that number, but it's what the website emailed me.
Correction on the colour name, it's "midnight fog" for grey, and "tour yellow" for the yellow. I also have the bootie/sock version instead of the traditional tongue.
Wow...I customized them on NikeID site and they look so ugly with midnight fog and yellow, but yours look quite good.
I also tried to configure my own designs:
Which one do you like the most?
I have no idea why, but the simple black & white I like the most
^ I would choose a grey swoosh, to contrast a bit.
And black laces.
You're right...it looks less contrasty but more mystical
So when the OP said it's grey then it's not? Think he knows mich better than us.
Which one are you buying.
I think they look great!
In reality they are a fair bit darker than on the NIKEiD site. They are closer to black than mid-grey. On a scale of 1–100%, white to black, they are about 75% I reckon.
I am leaning towards the black ones with the blue cage and Volt (yellow) swoosh, but I also like the contrast of the black/white
But now I realise that the white would become red from the clay, so a better choice would be the gray/yellow ones that bkpr has, or the blue/black/volt ones that I made.
Yes, yours look great, but the configuration picture they looks awful.
Why did you chosed sock/boot instead of the standard one? It's a big difference?
The boot it's higher at the heel level, and softer or what is the feeling?
Ok, grey it is. Actually fog...midnight fog
^^^ Like this one !
Ha! Well, actually, I prefer the NIKEid website version I used to have a pair of mid-grey ÉS Quattros skate shoes which I loved. This is where my fetich for grey shoes comes from. It doesn't really go with anything, so in a sense it can go with everything
In the 90s I had a pair of Nike Huarache running shoes with a sock/bootie interior, so I wanted t again. I like that the tongue stays put and doesn't slide down to the side, because it can't. I feels like sliding my foot into a snug sleeping bag.
It's interesting you mention a high heel, because I've begun to get a sore achilles tendon this year, right when I started wearing the shoes. However, at the same time I increased my tennis playing time by 2.5 to 3 times which I blamed for the soreness up until now.
I didn't realise or think the bootie would have a higher heel. I must compare to my previous Brooks cross-trainers to see if there is a difference.
The grey looks sick Kev!
(also, when designing in NIKEiD, the bootie heel height vs standard heel height appears to be the same).
I will take this anytime...loveit
Can anyone tell what Nike shoe will fit me, I have a neutral type foot but I have wide feet. I tried the CB and Vapor. The CB did not fit me and the Vapor was almost fitting except it was not wide enough at the upper part of my feet. Perhaps the 2K10/11?
Was it the new Vapor 9 you tried?
No it was the 8, is the 9 wider? I'm also curious about the durability, some people were saying they only last like 2 months
For me they lasted 3 weeks... Great shoes though
Can you ID customize the ballistec 4.3 as well ? I am hearing that is the best shoe ever made by Nike.
As of now you can't
That is too bad because it only comes in 2 boring color options. This shoes could look hot in some other colors. like Green/ orange/ black etc
If it's anything like the 3.3, Nike will come out with a plethora of color options in the future.
Soon there will be a red version and a grey/peach version
wtf, i will never buy this shoe now
I mean, that's just for me. I play A LOT of tennis. It also depends on how you play.
Your also talking about wearing it non-stop I assume? Some people have a number of shoes that they rotate therefore giving a longer life to all pairs rather than beating one single pair to its death.
I did not roate them...
my new i.d. creation
^^^^ these need to be made retail
Aww man! How did you get a pair of the Black/Red Oscillates?
****... Over an year ago. Sometimes You can still get them if You get lucky
I'll have to make sure to search a few times a week. I picked up a brand new pair of the White/Silver Vapor VI's on the bay for $58 last week!
There was a pair of black/ silver (GREAT) yesterday but I didn't go for them...
Still very tempting
I actually just saw a pair of the white/grey clay ones in a 9.5. I had the exact same pair years ago! I loved them so much LOL. I miss those shoes.
I actually still have two pairs of the white/navy ones though.
I didn't know shoes held seances.
Take a Look
My new clay and hardcourt shoes...
Niceeeee collection!! everyone put nike the red laces on the gold vapor vi LOL
Very nice! How are they?
Both feel very comfortable out of the box. The Clay ones especially.
So far I've only played in my hard court 4.3s and they actually didn't require much break in if any. Very comfortable and easy to move. They didn't feel as heavy as people say they are. I have flat, semi-wide feet, so to explain the comfort, I felt a little pressure in the arch area but I also wear Nike Dri-Fit Crews that made the ride much better. Toe box felt bigger compared to my (clay) 2.3s.
