post your shoes before the shoe warranty claim

I sent back my Barricade 17's in March 2018 and they were lost during UPS shipment. I called and chatted with Adidas on a few occasions and since I had also thrown away the UPS with the tracking number, I was basically out of luck. 2 weeks ago I received an email from Adidas with a code for free replacement Barricade shoes! Not complaining.

is this enough to claim warranty

Yes. It’s ready to send for the warranty.

I always like keeping them as long as I can before sending in (if there is still time in the 6 months). I could, depending on how often I am able to play, still keep those for another week to about 3 weeks.
What's the rush, ya know? ;)

Damn you guys are tough on your soles. I find it interesting going through this thread seeing all these massive signs of wear after such short periods of time, on some very durable shoes as well. This is the progress I have on my 2014 Vapor 9.5s. I did take a break between 2016-2019 (started playing again a couple of months ago). Only just ordered a new pair.

Bought these Nike Cage 3’s in July. Rotated them every other match and decided to try the 6 month warranty. I sent them in and Nike approved the claim. They’re sending me out a voucher. Not giving up on the Cage 3’s, but I’m going to try the NikeCourt Air Zoom Vapor X Knit next.

Ahh man, I think NB changed their policy. They used to provide a full replacement shoe regardless of how much you paid for the original. Now I'm seeing this:

We will issue you a voucher equal to the price you paid that can be used for a future purchase on www.newbalance.com.

Wow... lol
I like getting discounted shoes with warranty and being able to get the free pair of MSRP price haha

Are those the translucent cages?

I think he means Translucent clear outsole, which those cages have. I also own them but just recently started rotating them in.
What’s the durability and traction like? I know from basketball that clear/translucent outsoles are not as durable and have less traction.

They were exactly the same as regular Nike Cage 3’s. Just the sole was a different color. I wore through these over the summer, because I played a LOT of tennis on outdoor hard courts. I normally rotate between two pairs, but these were my favorite, so used them a lot. Nike honored the 6 month sole guarantee so I felt definitely got my money’s worth.

Did Nike change their warranty process center? It used to be Memphis, TN. For the latest claim, it's asking me to ship to Indiana.

Just a question, How did you guys wear out your shoes like that in just like 1-3 months. Do you play singles high level or play 5x a week?

I

This is my first time trying for warranty. Think it's valid? Not so worn on the botton, but on the edges they're worn. I'm on 5/6 months. Where's the production date they mention?
Its usually under the tongue or inside the shoe. They look good, maybe really dig me out like 2 more times and then send them.

I only got $97.50 voucher from Nike for my cage 3. When did they change their policy to give you the voucher based on your purchase price, instead of the MSRP?

Latter half of 2019... I was disappointed, but it was only a matter of time before they figured out they were giving away money. Got a lot of good clothing and extra shoes with the voucher leftovers.

Finally looks like Nike is turning away from “WARRANTY”.
Their Voucher system was the best feature from tennis shoes but I saw many people tried to abuse the system...
They should just change policy to send replacement shoes or exact same shoe model replacement instead of sending a voucher which the price paid from buyers.
I prefer to see that shoes prices are going down and get rid of warranty but looks like shoes prices are going up and shoe warranty will be gone soon......

All my warranty shoes wear out fast, but especially on the left show from sliding. Can I be hired as a shoe tester? [emoji16]

Definitely, you should be the top list of shoe tester for every shoe company hahaha.
Glad to see that you are still playing a lot of tennis ^_^

How do you slide? Does it depend on the court? My local high school has some pretty dusty courts, so just wanna know.

I need to take video, no real way to explain it. The 996 is my current shoe, it's great for the bottom outsole, and light weight. Maybe another month

Jesus Christ are your ankles made out of diamond or what. I’ve never seen a shoe rip there. And you’re consistently doing so

I think I found Gael Monfils’ alt account.

Haha. No, I bought these 12/30/19. They just wore out after practice and tennis matches. I do a lot of running I guess [emoji28]

How did you blow through the ankle collar?

Just received a $130 voucher for a pair of Cage 3's. I was surprised. I saw on the last pair of Cage 3 that i picked up three or so weeks ago that the warranty card said you would receive the price you paid in voucher form and expected the $79 i paid for the Rafa Volt Cage 3's i sent in. Also unexpected was the speed of the review and authorization of the voucher. A few days and not weeks. I'm guessing they didn't open them and just awarded the full amount in these crazy days.
