post your shoes before the shoe warranty claim

Does anyone have any experience with Asics returns? Preferably from the UK.

Yep. Twice, actually. First time was "easier" and they offered a hefty discount on anything given I was hitting the 6-month mark and that there were no more Gel Res 7. The second time was a bit more complicated, because I bought two Gel Res 8 Tokyo and both showed the same failure - hole in the FlyteFoam under the heel, from open stance forehands :cautious:. The store replaced the first pair, the second pair they didn't - so I had to contact Asics.

They would not reply, and only after a few public callings on social media and a some pushes through private messages, I got my query answered and the pair replaced.

I recently made warranty claim for a pair of Head Revolt pro 3.5, which I wore for about five months, and got holes under both big toes. The CS representative at Head was very helpful, and sent me return instructions. Five weeks later, I received a new pair of Revolt pro 4.0 from them. They probably ran out of the old model. Very satisfied with their warranty service.

Nice. Impressed they did not claim the wear through was not quite enough

Yeah, this is my first warranty claim. And I wasn't sure at the beginning. I called the CS number, described the size and location of the wear. The representative said he didn't see any reason why it won't be covered.

2 months into my head revolt pro 3.5. These have worn quicker than any asics, new balance, or kswiss shoes I've had. I think ill wear these for a couple more months and send them in, but I think they'd qualify now. Anyone had recent experience with head? In the past when I did the warranty with new balance and asics, I think I just sent them back to tennis warehouse when I called them.

Check out my experience with Head four posts up. Yours should easily qualify for replacement.

did you size up half or a full size with those?

Mizuno Wave EnforceTour shoes. Photo: . I wore the shoes at the toe through the outsole and one midsole. Info@tenniswarehouse.com returned my inquiry and authorized the return. I've done this once before with the Mizuno exceed tour 5 (also through Tennis Warehouse). I had new shoes within three weeks.

Meanwhile, I ordered a pair of Wilson, Rush, pro 4.0 (sale priced at $79), which also has the six-month outsole warranty. I love the warranty program, because my going out 5 to 7 times a week works really well with it. The warranty program is probably a moneymaker for Tennis Warehouse with people who only get out on weekends. Win-win for everyone.

I’m a pretty decent customer for Tennis Warehouse, having bought at least four rackets and three reels of string from them in the past two years. I hope they keep this six month outsole warranty program going.

Any recent updates on warranty claims?

Wifey and I have Rush Pro 4.5s that we'll be claiming soon.
My new balance 996v5 got replaced with newer model. Bought it from the tennis train website and sent it to new balance site.
Shoes weren't that worn down either. Only a spot on my right shoe the size of a dime was worn to the mid sole

Ok I've been wanting to tell this story for a while, now enough time has passed. Apparently there were some significant legalities going on at the time.

Anyway I spent a summer (2018) where my parents lived cause my dad wasvery sick. It was REALLY hot there and I met a group of local players who would play early every morning. They were kind enough to allow me to be part of their group so I played with them every day, great guys.

So the topic of shoes came up and I mentioned my shoe had a warranty and this is when the story came up. This is the story:

A guy in their group was crazy (they were all kind of crazy in a good way, this guy was crazy in a bad way) and he was cheap. So he would buy warranty shoes but he wasn't a kid anymore so he wouldn't wear them out in 6 months SO he would drag them out the door of a moving car to wear a hole in them and claim the warranty.

Apparently this worked once or twice but the retailer caught on (ya think?) and denied his latest claim. So this guy took great offense at his attempt at fraud being denied and was so mad he called the retailer and said he was going to show up at their business and commit serious violence (I forget if it was a death threat, probably). Well the retailer called the cops and this guy was arrested and a restraining order issued! I forget how much trouble he got in but it was pretty serious. The guys telling the story were kind of laughing and shaking their heads like this was somewhat normal behavior from this individual. Thankfully I was never on court with this guy.

I won't mention the retailer.

edit: and lol at this doomass for calling in threats to a place which had his name and address on file!:-D

Had a question about the Tennis Warehouse 6 Month Durability Guarantee.
It says they offer a "one-time" replacement.
Does that mean if I burn through a pair of shoes, get a warranty replacement, the replacement shoes will no longer have the guarantee extend to it?

That's what it means, Yes. The replacements don't have the outsole guarantee
