Power lever compared between BB Alu Power and Tecnifibre X-One Biphase!

Power level compared between BB Alu Power and Tecnifibre X-One Biphase!

How's the powerlever compared between Big Banger Alu Power and a good synthetic string like Tecnifibre X-One Biphase?
I have tried Alu Power but I wonder if it's really as powerful as they claim it to be, cuz it's still a Poly (mixture) string.

I would like to buy a Tecnifibre string, but here in Europe it's so screwed up that products made in Europe itself are more expensive here than in the US!!!
Can you believe that?!?!?
It's crazy!
Tecnifibre X-One Biphase costs like 25 Euros here, that's like 32 Dollars!

I just purchased a Big Banger Ace string for 27 Dollars (could have got it cheaper for like 21, but it's still far from US's prices)

This could be a tough one to answer... Since both strings are so different that they are strung at different tensions and play completely different in terms of feel.

If you are talking about all around power of the strings then, X-One is of course more powerful and requires higher tensions to control... It also feels better volleying with than BB ALU, but that doesn't automatically mean better volleys as I volley as well with fresh ALU than any other string.

ALU is powerful for a poly, I don't think it claims to be powerful... just claims that it is for power hitters, if that makes any sense.

For the price you just listed there, I've had much better experience with Natural gut. Typically a set of X-One biphase will last me around 15-18 hours before its just unplayable... I have a set of Klip Legend 15L strung up on my NCode Tour 90 with over 20 hours of play on it, it looks like it will go 20 more hours at this rate. All I've done is use baby oil to keep the natural gut from drying out and there is hardly any fraying.

Would Ace in the mains and X-one Biphase in the crosses be a good hybrid for my Head Pro Tour 630?
If yes, at what tension would you reccomend a Heavy Spin Basher to string it?
