WELCOME TO THE TALK TENNIS 2011 (May 1st-8th) MADRID MASTERS POWER PLAY LEAGUE​

It's the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the Power Play League! This means for us folk who were playing this last year, we have points to defend!

This is the fourth ATP Masters event of the 2011 Tennis Year, the Mutua Madrid Open.

HOW TO PLAY:​

For each round of matches, we assign scoring points to each individual. For example, a match between Rafael Nadal (12,870) and Novak Djokovic (9,640) would have the following scoring points:

[1] R Nadal (ESP) vs. [2] N Djokovic (SRB) - (9-12)

The player picks the winner of 16 out of 55 matches based on the provided scoring points. The scoring points are calculated by a mathematical formula based on the players’ rankings. The objective of the game is to pick a mix of upsets and "sure bets" that will give you the highest score. All matches will be posted in the thread with scoring points and will also be available in the league file. We hope you all join and we can make this bigger and better than our previous events!

REMINDER: You can join at any time (even if you want to pick just the final) but to make all 16 picks for the Mutua Madrid Open, you must make your first pick before the conclusion of the THIRD ROUND.

Happy Anniversary Power Play League! I can't believe I managed to finish third at an event. I'm in such a ridiculous slump lately. :(
 
I'll be on vacation from May 5th to 8th, which means I have to finish all by picks before I leave.

Btw, I'm in to defend my runner-up points.
