Timestamp RG match began at 1:37:10. My post: 1:37:08. PDJ's post: 1:37:28. My second post: 1:38:09.

PDJ's cancellation was late, my re-pick for Sinner was late, but my cancellation was buzzer-beater, as per the PDL's ruling that RG timeclock is the more accurate time measurement.

This makes no sense.
@Big_Dangerous please check the times.
I literally posted seconds after Triple as I was waiting on his predictable change and had my post ready just to press send.

It takes time for databases to update. I did the exact same thing with my re-pick, and it took 40 seconds for your update to reach my computer and my post to go through. Yours took 20 seconds. You can check the timestamps by looking in the Inspect Element.

Except the length of the match is shorter than my post.
I wouldn't even have to think about it, or pay attention if you were not changing picks.
I'm just used to it and therefore ready to counter in this instance.
And why would you repick if the match had started?

Go ahead, I'm only changing picks because you're tactically picking based on my picks. You can check the timestamps. The match timer started at 1:37:10. Your post has a timestamp of 1:37:28. You're definitely late. Don't know what to tell you.

@Big_Dangerous
@gn
I'd like a ruling on this please.
Thanks.

My thought would be that you both made posts cancelling your pick at 15:37 (my time in the central time zone) or 22:37 RG time. I would say that either the cancellation should count for both of you or neither of you. I don't think it's worth qubbling over 20 seconds because it's hard to know exactly and precisely what the time stamp that first ball went into play.

@gn your thoughts?

I agree.

I made a ruling in PDL game where PDJ picks were in by 26 seconds based on RG website.:oops: But that one doesn't have timestamp and if admins are not around, it would be difficult to know the exact start time. I think in the future, we should just stick with flashscore,xscores even though they round off the timestamp. If a match start at 10:02, you pick at 10:01 but flashscore says 10:00 then your pick is invalid. What do you think?

I'm content with either both being counted or not counted.
Which is it?

I'm not good with this ruling. 20 seconds might not be worth quibbling about to you, but it is to me. The same sort of shenanigans happened in PDL where I made my final change several minutes in advance, well ahead of any questioning. @PDJ on the other hand made a change 26 seconds before the first ball was hit.

Using the exact same ruling system, I made a post 2 seconds before play began (I immediately posted the match timestamps), and I made it in whereas PDJ did not. I don't see why it should be any different for PPL than PDL.

@PDJ was sitting on the computer waiting for me to post so he had a guaranteed win in the tournament. There is only one way I can keep him from just copying my picks, and that's to get them in literally seconds before play begins - so he can't copy them. I did just that, and now it's going to be invalid, even after I checked all the timestamps?

So after discussing this with @gn and carefully reviewing the situtation, we both agreed that it's only fair if @TripleATeam 's cancellation is valid, but @PDJ 's is not. Unfortunately, PDJ did not make the cancellation in time, so the orignal pick of Sinner over Nadal will stand. TripleATeam was able to get the cancellation in on time, so this match won't count toward his picks.

Though, I understand that there's some jockeying going on to try and determine the outcome as it relates to the leaderboard, please be aware that when you make these last second picks, you run the risk of them not being counted. It's highly recommended that you carefully consider your picks or cancellations and get them in well before the match starts.
