The chokers (If you need their names, Melzer and (Al)Mug(Ro))
At this point, his real name is beginning to fade from my memory
[1] R. Federer (SUI) vs. [5] R. Soderling (SWE) - Robin in 5
[11] M. Youzhny (RUS) vs. [15] T. Berdych (CZE) - Youzhny in 3
[22] J. Melzer (AUT) vs. [3] N. Djokovic (SRB) - Melter in 4
[19] N. Almagro (ESP) vs. [2] R. Nadal (ESP) - Almagro in 4
I agree, actually. Or I don't but I'd only give Nadal a slight advantage, and need points
Just to rub it in the face of the world yet again...
Nah, I always get the easier ones wrong so...go Almagro!
He's the "DG most improved player"
Always one of my least favorites til I suddenly warmed up to him in last few months
123. [22] J. Melzer (AUT) vs. [3] N. Djokovic (SRB) - (21-5)31 Melzer
124. [19] N. Almagro (ESP) vs. [2] R. Nadal (ESP) - (20-5)32 Almagro
I believe I will capitalize on Nadal and Djokovic poor play from their last rounds!
Cancel my 32th pick of Melzer.
forgot to pick today would have been almagro and melzer.
Cant win now so wont bother picking anymore.
I'm confused as to my tally, and seem to have forgotten to pick todays matches so I'll void my last 1-3 (depending on who's count is wonky heh)
90 [30] P. Kohlschreiber (GER) vs. A. Seppi (ITA) 7 13 Kohli 13th
90. [30] P. Kohlschreiber (GER) vs. A. Seppi (ITA) - (7-13) 21st Seppi
106. [22] J. Melzer (AUT) vs. [9] D. Ferrer (ESP) - (14-7) Ferrer 24th
111. [14] I. Ljubicic (CRO) vs. [24] T. Bellucci (BRA) - (8-12) Bellucci 24th
What do you mean? I have to count DG's matches since I haven't done that yet but once I'm done with that I'll count yours.
Your last picked match according to board is 122 - which you earned 11 pts for. You only have one pick left but I'll try to check it out.
EDIT: Finished checking DG2010's matches - all your picks are accounted for so you will not be able to make all 32 picks. The problem was you kept jumping around with picks - you made 2 twice. You made 2 #8 picks, and two #4 picks and skipped from #21 to #24. For the next tournament if you, or anyone for that matter, isn't sure how many picks you've made just refer to the league file. Sorry about not being able to make all 32. Here's to next time.
EDIT: This is messy:
Shadows - you picked match #90 twice - I erased the 2nd one. It was my mistake to not catch it earlier and I apologize. Also, you picked match #24 twice that's why the counts were off. As of now, you have pick #21 and pick #32 remaining. Sorry about the confusion.
NYKings .... This has happened to me and others, namely, not realizing that we had made two different picks for the same match ......... Luckily, I noticed it in time ..... but could you please make a general, standardized rule to cover this situation?
To me it seems unreasonable to expect the scorekeeper, who are donating your time to make this game run smoothly, responsible when we the participants make such a mistake, especially since it sometimes happens that you may not realize the player's error until after the match in question has already started.
I assume none of us would want the pick to be totally invalidated by the inadvertent violation of picking both tennis players to win the match.
But it seems we do need a rule as to whether the first choice will uniformly be the valid one or whether the second choice will always be the valid one, since two picks makes it seem that we have changed our minds.
Just double checking for the future.
Thanks, King ... and thanks for all your hard work in making Power Play League a success!
I've been thinking about this since I rummaged through 25 pages of picks to find DG's and shadows. While it isn't that big a deal (took 10 or 15 minutes) it's unnecessary. The FAQ won't be changed until seffina is back since she helps with that but for Queens/Halle we will have a formal ruling and I'll make a post in that thread with the final decision.
As of now this is how I see it: If you make a pick more than once.
Ex. Gulbis vs. Ferrer - 5th Ferrer
Federer vs. Nadal - 5th Nadal
The second pick will just be slotted over into the next available slot so in this case Nadal will become the 6th pick.
If you pick the same match twice without acknowledging the change, I think we should go with keeping the second pick valid. I want to talk it over with Jay and if Seff has any input I'll welcome it but she's on vacation so I rather not bother her.
Again, something will be posted in the Queens/Halle thread.
Thanks for your patience.

ROLAND GARROS - FRENCH OPEN 2010 SEMI-FINALS
125. [5] R. Soderling (SWE) vs. [15] T. Berdych (CZE) - (7-15)
126. [22] J. Melzer (AUT) vs. [2] R. Nadal (ESP) - (21-5)
Can you post the scoring points for the possible finalists as well? Valuable information for those of us having less than 3 picks left.
