Post-Indian Wells Update:
Hey everyone, thanks for joining IW! I won this edition of Indian Wells, followed by @PDJ and @bezs. This was my 1st IW title, 7th (record-tying) Masters, and 15th title overall. In rankings, we're also seeing Tokyo/Beijing, Basel/Vienna, and Shanghai points drop (because they haven't been played in multiple years - and in the Basel/Vienna case, we didn't have Basel). Interestingly, this barely impacted rankings at all (except a few inactive players fell down the rankings).
In terms of the Race, we've settled down (mostly). Going into the ATP Finals, we'll have me as 1st seed, followed by @James P, @gn, and @Locotus. Those seeds are locked in regardless of Paris results. @PDJ and @bezs are fighting for the 5th seed, but are both practically guaranteed the 5th or 6th, and @Aussie Darcy is almost surely locked in for 7th seed. The exciting part is the race between @I Am Finnish and @romeo8880, where either can snag the final spot for the inaugural Tour Finals in Turin! All others, unfortunately, will be unable to play except as alternates (subbing in for those that do not show).
Paris threads are about to be posted, so please look at those if you want to participate. Thank you and see you soon!
