Congrats to saloni on the victory at Monte-Carlo! It was saloni's first PPL win! Congrats to dcdoorknob, who does far too well in these PPL events, and seffina for finishing in second and third respectively!

Updated Rankings & Race:

Once again, Li Ching Yuen & GasquetGOAT swap places for first and second in the overall rankings. The middle of the pack remains the same but Locotus jumps into seventh and saloni, with the win jumps into the top ten at eighth. Jay falls to ninth and jamesblakefan#1 falls to tenth.

The top three in the race remain the same. 24*7 Tennis & Locotus swap places for fourth and fifth while dcdoorknob jumps up to sixth. Respectively, joeri888 & jamesblakefan#1 fall to seventh and eighth while kishnabe and bezs stand pat at ninth and tenth.

To see the rest of the rankings, please visit the League File.

Thank you to Jay and seff for their help throughout the week. Jay's the unsung hero and he did 95% of the work this past week. I'll help out more in Madrid.

Thanks to everyone for participating. Glad to see some news faces in the fold!

Look out for the Madrid thread in a week or so!

Congrats to saloni for the win, well deserved. Came close a few times already, it's a good feeling to have finally made one.:)

Far too well? I just scored a combined 33 points for Indian Wells and Miami, which really hurt since I was defending 2500 points from them from last year. I needed something like this just to stop the bleeding.

For sure congrats to my h2h doubs partner saloni. Thanks as always to the game-runners for running the game so well.

I was just kidding around. You, Li, GG, and 24*7 are probably the four that do the best. I feel like those are the usernames I type most in post tourney rankings.

Thanks for the good luck Li, but you didn't need to sound sour over losing the number one, again. It's a game, sir.:)

Although you are right about "temporary", as no "number one" will be nor should be permanent, I think you know what I mean. ;)

Good luck to you too for the clay and grass season, its fun having a competitive player like you around.:)

No problem then.:) It was the same comment last time so wasn't sure if you're serious.

I totally expect either you or robin to retake the no.1 spot after french open as it is seemingly impossible to defend a title in PPL (don't think anyone ever did) let alone a 32 picks slam.

I would certainly bet on myself regaining the number one in the rankings. This spring I couldn't perform my best because I was injured, no? Broken legs, knees, heart, tendons and spirit.

I am now 100% and ready to slay on the clay.

If I do remember correctly, the closest person to defended a title was dcdoorknob when he finished in 2nd place during the 2011 U.S. Open

The most impressive feat so far IMO is the back to back 24-pick masters wins of dcdoorknob (2011 Indian wells and Miami), a combined 48 picks! Although your Canada and Cinicinnati titles were quite impressive too.
