Power string or lower tenison

Im trying to get some more pop out of my 4D 300 tour and was wondering if there is a difference between stringing an average powered string at lower tension or using a more powerful string. I play with a hybrid set up. Thanks

Why not combine both.
Use a high-powered string at a low tension.
Maximum power.

Average power string at low tension will pocket and trampoline more.

High power string at normal tension will feel stiffer.

You may benefit from gut as your main if willing to pay.

If you want more power, go with the higher powered string at your "normal" tension".

The newer soft higher powered soft pollys play super well and give that extra pop you are looking for. I especially like BHBR.

Whenever I played with strings that were too loose, the loss of control was far greater than the increase in power. Go with higher powered strings.

My wife discussed this with our tennis instructor. She said to go with a more powerful string at regular tension, so as to not sacrifice control.

The 4D 300 tour is extremely low powered, also due to light sw. But it has such a nice pocketing feel, imo. Wish you luck in getting the power you want.
