Having to listening to Mary Carillo and the gang beat a dead horse on Raymond Moore and equal prize money is wearing thin. One gem did slip regarding the apparent need for far more practice courts for the WTA whose members don't/won't practice together. The men however do practice together. Perhaps the P in ATP reveals more than I thought. Perhaps also this prima donna attitude regarding practice courts wears thin on Moore and other tournament directors especially if the WTA makes a lot of demands and does not contribute anything but players to play matches. I am not in the inner workings of this but apparently neither are the talking heads or they would offer more than sexism claims. The facts, just the facts. As a fan I find the request for extra practice courts in comparison to the men to be pretentious akin to a star who wants green M & Ms in her dressing room.
One unjustified request does not make the WTA all bad. However I have yet to hear the folks claiming Moore and Stahkovsky are wrong to offer clear numbers or facts other than "fairness".(Life isn't fair.) All we get are chuckles and Andy Murray tweets.
