Predict Carlos Alcaraz 2023 Clay Season.

I'm curious to see how Miami goes first.

After 3 months off tour he broke down after playing 9 matches in quick succession, leading to him having to pull out of Acapulco. But then he comes back and plays the maximum 6 matches at Indian Wells. If he makes another run to the final in Miami I could see him being a bit gassed (if not injured). That might mean being too flat to win Monte-Carlo, but if he goes deep in MC maybe he withdraws from Barcelona. There's a whole lot of if's still in the air if you ask me. It's a long season, and I hope he paces himself properly.

Monte Carlo: Winner
Barcelona: Withdraws
Madrid: SF
Rome: Winner
RG: Semis [ Schooled by either Rafa/Novak ]

and then he loses in 2nd round of Wimbledon.

Whenever Alcaraz plays Nadal he will beat him, and everyone else bar Djokovic possibly.

On the other hand, he does need to plan his clay season wisely.

There are many good players on clay: Nadal, Novak, Zverev, Tsitsipas, and Ruud.
MC: Nadal and Novak might show some rust. Likely between Alcaraz, Zverev, and Tsitsipas.
Madrid: It is quite different from the other big clay events. Alcaraz defends his title.
Rome: Nadal or Novak. This is when they get into rhythm. And hopefully Nadal's ranking becomes decent by this time.
RG: Nadal or Novak if they are not in the same half. Hard to see anyone going through both in RG.

Mc- Final
Barcelona - Won't play; small injury.
Madrid- Defends title
Rome- Semis
RG- Final or semis
