by your logic whole OE = no1e era. most slams out of anyone and yet was not even playing for the most part of it.

24 slams, 1 OG, more countless masters than rafa, ye#1 8 times but was DQ, banned and obstructed and would be YE#1 in 2022 if not for political BS!

11-13 can not be part of rafa era, he was no1 only 1 time (nole 2 times). was no4 in 2012 (nole no1), so his average ranking was 2,3 (noles 1,3) for them 3 seasons. he had 6-10 h2h vs nole. he had 4 slams and nole 5, 0 WTFs and nole 2, rafa 8 masters and nole 11. so 12 big titles for rafa and 18 for nole (50% more). overall 17 titles for rafa and 23 for nole. 29315 ATP points for rafa and 38810 ATP points for nole almost 1/3 more than rafa!

Nadal was injured and or missed 16-20 slams. How many has Nole missed?

2011-2023 Nole era

24 slams, 35 masters, 6 atp finals, 80 titles
Nadal 13 slams, 18 masters, 48 titles
Federer 4 slams, 11 masters, 1 atp final, 37 titles

We could also 'selectively' say Nadal won 17 slams between 2008-2020. Nole won 16 the same between that period too so less than Nadal. Nadal was injured or missed about 12-16 slams in this period to boot.

nole has missed more slams as favorit than rafa and nole missed slams as heavy favorite due political reasons when he was ready to play. rafa misses tournaments where he is not favorit due injuries but mostly due scheduling.

from his first slam W season to his last slam W season rafa missed 4 USO, 3 W, 2 AO and 0 RG (in 18 seasons in a row)! so 9 non being favorit tournaments.
nole missed USO22 as big favorit due political ban, AO22 as even bigger favorit (3 previously events and next event champ) and giss who won it? W20 was not held and nole was champ 2 previously and 2 next seasons. he was even DQ at USO20.

In YOUR opinion as favourite right? Facts are Nadal missed or was injured 16-20 slams and the fact he has a 22-68 strike rate at slams (highest out of any player) means he has a higher chance to win them slams he missed/injured anyways........

no, he has very high % only at RG and it is the slam that he has never missed in his slam winnings years. and he missed 9 slams not 20 in that period. for ex he missed 3 slams this season but do you really think he was favorit at any of them in the season that he lost in the 1st round at RG?

he won:
2 out of 18 (11%) AOs and the second one is asterisked.
2 of 15 Ws (13%)
4 of 16 USOs (25%) last 2 with only one top10 wins combinate.
and
14 of 19 RGs (74%)

No one seems to be able to challenge Sinner on HC, so he is likely to win the AO, at least. Probably the USO, as well. Likewise, in terms of the rankings.

Outside of that, next year seems very hard to predict.

Novak can but I don't know if he has any motivation left.

Discuss.

No evidence over 5 sets Djokovic can compete anymore with Sinner and Alcaraz. He is much declined now and is not the wall of old at all and much slower side to side than at his best and both Sinner and Alcaraz over 5 sets can overpower him. He got destroyed by both at the slams this year and next season he is older while they are getting stronger and better.
If he gets thrashed again by either at the Majors next season i think he may call it a day. Same applies to Nadal if he plays next season. For all legends in all sports there is usually the reality checkpoint that comes when up and coming ATGS send them into retirement in brutal fashion.

Dunno about who wins really. But Djokovic isn't going to win a single tournament. He's done.
Ruud's not winning any 1000. Probably not Tsitispas either.
Rublev might have a good year and win another 1000, maybe even get to a RG final.
Big mover of the year is going to be ... Not Holger Rune (but I hope he proves me wrong). Probably Draper or Musetti. Maybe both.
People who'll have a disappointing season. Ruud, Medvedev, Tistispas. Maybe de Minaur and Tiafoe. Felix maybe.
Hoping Zhang will get into top 20, Etcheverry too.
I don't believe the Fonseca hype.
Look out for Elmer møller from Denmark. I think he'll break into the top 100. Just Beat Bublik in DC.

AO – Zverev
RG – Alcaraz
W – Alcaraz
US – Sinner

I hope Musetti wins Rome.

2025 season highlights:

Sinner: wins 2 slams. This will make mark his 2nd straight YE#1, something many Hall of Famers haven’t done before while bagging slam titles #3 and #4 to move him above several Hall of Famers on the list

Alcaraz; bags a slam title to get to #5 for his career. He will now be considered an ATG by many announcers.

Djoker; bags 1 slam title to finally end this talk about Court. The tennis world will go crazy and talk about how Djoker became the new record-holder for slam titles and become the oldest slam winner in history while strutting into the sunset of his career.

Rankings:

1. Sinner by a wide margin
2. Zverev
3. Alcaraz
4. Medvedev
5. Fritz
6. Rublev
7. Tiafoe
8. Draper
9. Djokovic
10. de Minaur

It is practically impossible for a tennis player of his age to win a Major tournament.

Djoker is known as Mr. Clutch and Mr. Impossible. A healthy Djoker could still navigate a tough draw at Wimbledon, or a draw that opens up a bit on hard courts and even clay.

That's the problem, at his age there are no guarantees.

Even Andre Agassi has not done what you predict Jannik Sinner would do. Sky is the limit.
