    Actually, he has quit a lot. Wimbledon 2009 for starters. Almost every other major as well. Matches, especially in losing situations, even matches in majors.

    Nadal's level was very high early in the year.
    If he resolves his problem, whatever it may be, he could still have 4 good years left.

    He had some knee problems awhile back and it was pretty much taken care of for a couple years once he found the right treatment, it did take some time to find out what would work best.

    I get that there are similarities. But the previous poster implying that Nadal is going to retire because of some preordained destiny as set by Borg is ********.

    And Nadal isn't burned out, his body is failing. He'd play until he was 50 if he could. Borg walked away, completely healthy.
