Predictions for Vienna, Paris and WTF.

Please share your predictions for those 3 tournaments. How will Nadal and Djokovic perform? How will some of the other top players like Thiem, Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Zverev do? Who will win these titles?

Looking forward to a potential Djokovic-Thiem clash in Vienna (Thiem is defending champion).

Will be interesting to see how Nadal will fare at Bercy. Djokovic, the defending champion, is not playing and neither is Federer and Nadal should not be suffering from his usual end-of-season fatigue and injuries after playing so little this year. This has got to be a golden opportunity for him to finally add 1 of these big autumn events to his resumé. If he can't capitalise this year he most likely never will.

Vienna looks nuts. Whomever wins is going to have to be on their A-game. I think someone will upset Djokovic in the quarters or semis, not sure whom yet. Just a feeling. I also don't think Rafa will win Paris, probably losing in the semis there. They'll be a fun watch, especially Vienna.

Maybe Nadal will reach the QF in Paris and Win the WTF. Similar to his QF in Rome followed by a Win at the FO. But if he can get 1 of the 2 it will be a success for him. I hope none of these tournaments including Vienna get cancelled because I have a lot of free time to watch them.

WTF....Thiem

Thiem will be conscious of criticisms of his USO win in terms of the final quality and the absence of Nadal and Djokovic. He wss tired in Paris but after a rest and then the adulation he will have in Vienna i feel he will ride the wave and close the season out in style.
Could well be world no.1 by Indian wells.
As for Nadal he is at the stage now where we will only see his best at tail end of Majors. Rest of the time he will look slow and we will say he is in decline. However as we saw in Paris he has much left in his locker that he saves for the big events and matches.

Every year, Nadal is exhausted after USO and cannot gain good results at Paris and WTF.
This year, the situation changed. He only plays 26 matches so far and fit well for Paris and WTF.
I think Nadal can win Paris and reach SF of WTF at least.

@USO Like your new avi. :)

As for predictions, let's take a wild guess and go way out on a limb to say Djokovic will win Vienna and WTF. Nadal should also steamroll Paris, but with his anemic indoor credentials, someone like Zverev/Tsitsipas might bag that.

Thanks I'm all about peace.

I don't think Djokovic will win both. I think that his level has been overrated because he hasn't faced that many quality opponents and sometimes even struggled, but he's definitely the favorite on paper.

It would be nice for Nadal to win one of Paris or WTF. It's great that there is some tennis left for the year and then next year Federer will finally be back and make things even better.

I believe Nadal has got to be super motivated to actually decide to enter Paris.

Yes, even if he wins it in vulture style, without Djokovic, its still another box ticked on his resume.

Realistically, he is more than capable of winning it.

Vienna has got to be between Djokovic and Thiem. Would be great to see them go at it again.
