Will the BLX Blade line probably be the same specs as the K Blade line now? Does anyone anticipate a curve ball from Wilson and them in any way changing the way it will feel, etc?
If I am not mistaken , I think Wilson does a good job of not making any spec changes in any of their lines. Besides a few that I might think of. (Delpo racquet's specs were changed in the new BLX version from the old one). The ones I know they keep are the 6.1 Tour and the 95.
I really hope that Wilson doesn't tamper with any of the specs and hopefully it can come up relatively similar to the current Blade line.
My situation? Just trying to make transition into the K Blade Tour, wish I found it earlier. Love the stick. Similar control level as my older Prestige but presents a bit more feel IMHO. However, I realize the BLX is 5-6 months away and I do not want to use another discontinued stick when the new Blades come out. Just praying that the BLX Blade won't give me the same problem the MG and YTK Prestiges gave me when I tried switching to a newer model.
Other companies sometimes change it up. IMHO the Prestige has gone to a softer feel ever since ditching the rock solid, classic feel of the FXP Prestige
Same goes with other companies such as Tecnifibre and the 320.. going from a 18x20 control oriented racquet to a 320 which can be described IMHO "rocket launcher like"
