Pressureless Balls - Triniti replacement

There's a shortage of tennis balls in general right now. Almost everything is sold out till at least mid November

Next best for ball quality is probably wilson USO, next best in terms of pressureless, there's nothing really on par with trinities.

Gamma makes them and they're ok for a ball machine or serving hopper, but otherwise kinda suck.

Tretorn makes pressure-less balls--hard as rocks but should last forever. With the "supply chain problems" Tretorns may be the ball of the future--no more giving used balls to the dogs.

I was lucky to snag a couple of cases of Triniti back in August. They are holding great since they only get used for our ball machine.

Do they feel hard when hitting on the machine with these?

the diadem pressureless were like bricks after a while

Just a note— make sure you don’t give Tretorns to the dog. They are filled with white powder which can make quite a mess and is probably not good for the dog when she chews through it. Trinitis and pressurized balls are ok.

If you can find, buy online perhaps the Artengo TB160. They are cheap and inside they look just like Wilson Trinity, they have empty core and they come, as pressureless. They are not that hard and feel in play like Head pressurized balls, which are heavier - 59g. In time, TB160 get softer and the bounce decreases (I fix this by removing part of their felt :) - this makes them bounce up to 100% or even higher). In this mode, softer TB160 are ideal for play, as the bounce is high, but the feel is soft, like in kids balls, the only drawback is the partially removed felt, which of course many experienced players will find not acceptable, but for recreational players or players with hand health problems, they are ideal for play. Considering the price, constant bounce and feel, TB160 maybe are the best balls in tennis, at least for recreational players.

Just buy a nice extra duty felt ball like pro penn and one of the tennis pressurizer tubes. Will allow you to use balls much longer.

Not sure why this thread was drug up from over a year ago, but you can find the Triniti balls now. I've been using them in a ball machine for about a year now and they seem as good now as they did when they were new. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I find Triniti tooooo bouncy on hardcourts.
Might work better on artificial grass I mostly play on these days.
Much prefer Babolat Academy Golds (I've no connection with Babolat).

To me, at least on the hard courts I play at, they are about as bouncy as a set of pressured balls when they are fresh out of a can. Of course we aren't pros so we aren't playing with new balls all the time so maybe it's not indicative of the bounce after a number of games, but I don't think it's a huge difference. Have heard good things about the Diadem balls as well, may give them a try when the Triniti balls wear out, although at this rate it might be 5 years before that happens..
