Prestige Pro XT Grommets-IG Radical Pro

I have capped several IG radical pro rackets with the youtek prestige pro cap grommets, but because the IG radical is a 21.5mm beam, and the youtek prestige pro is 21mm, The caps don't cover the beam all the way, and some of the throat grommets are very short. The new prestige pro xt comes with black caps, and a 22mm beam. Will this fix the short throat grommets when capping the IG? Or will I need to buy tubing as well? Thanks

Would the IG Prestige S grommets work better? 16 x 19 and a wider beam I think. (I'd double check though.)

If I am not mistaken, IG Radical Pro is already capped off-the-shelf. And its head size is larger than that of Youtek Prestige Pro's (IG Rad Pro being a true 98 and Ytk Prestige Pro being a true 95). How did OP make the grommets fit?

IG Prestige S comes with shared holes, so its grommets won't fit.

Thanks for the replies. The IG radical is actually 95, the graphene radical was the first to be a true 98 head size. The IG prestige s does have shared holes, and I believe has 6 in the throat bridge compared to 8 of the radical? I'm not a fan of the clear caps that came with the racket. I guess I will be the first to try this then

Thanks for the clarification. I think I mixed up non-IG Rad Pro with the IG Rad Pro. The non-IG Rad Pro is the odd one which is 100 sq in.

Would love to see pics of IG Rad Pros capped in BLACK!

Yes and no. The caps from the xt prestige pro fit the beam width perfect, however the tubes for the caps at the throat are too short. I tried cutting them off and using the last three tubes from the ig radical, but when stringing, the string pulled right through the cap grommets. If you were to trim the tubes to maybe halfway, and use some technifibre eyelock grommets, you could make it work.
