Many of my favs are mentioned. Fed,Pete,Dr.Ivo,Stich,Dasco...

I would love to mentioned Wayne Arthurs,Gilles Muller and Younes El Aynoaui.

Noah, Wilander, Lendl, Edberg, Krajicek, Stich, Federer, Lopez all look nice.

Who do you think has the coolest, best-looking serve motion ever? Past or present, male or female, don’t matter

For me it goes like this:

1. Fed (takes the no. 1 spot by a large margin, no contest really, the most smooth and most graceful serve action ever, I will never get tired of watching that)

2. Karlovic (don’t know what is it about this serve motion but I’ve always thought it looked very cool, for me personally it’s a joy to watch Ivo serve, both because of the cool serve motion and cause of the serve that comes after)

3. Djokovic (this one also looks really cool to me, his best-looking shot along with his backhand)

4. Sampras (I’ve always really liked how he prepares before tossing the ball, looks great all-around)

Lethally effective, but pretty?

This is beautiful. The way he snaps through it with the racquet head instead of from the elbow like Pete. Like a liquid whip.
Yes, but unlike his, Sampras' body stays pretty much in a straight line in that moment.

Yes, Federer uses his core strength to put body weight behind the serve. Pete almost had his back facing the court on the windup so he could torque through it. It's how he got so much swing on it, and it's also how Raonic injures his back trying to serve like him.

1. Forget
2. Sampras
3. Stich
4. Karlovic
5. Becker
6. Ivanisevic

and Pancho Gonzales in there somewhere as well

Nadal's is easily the ugliest motion of all time, Djoks not far off either, no one in the modern game has a pretty serve, it's a lost art

Federer's motion looks graceful but not as smooth as a few servers of 90's like Stich, Krajicek and Sampras for example.
The beauty of Federer's serving motion is mainly about its relative simplicity (as a world class pro).
His leg actions are not as smooth as they can be. And the angle between his shoulder and arm. That is not pretty at all.

I have a few I really liked

Federer-so fluid
Djokovic-looks like a viper about to strike
Guga-honestly don’t know why, just always liked it
Sampras-didn’t like him but even when I started playing I tried imitating it, just not as well as Rampras lol
Hewitt-underrated fluid motion
Safin-looks like effortless power like his backhand did

My order for prettiness:

Pistol pete - this is obvious guys
Fed
Scud
Lopez

Other techniques I like, but not necessarily smooth or pretty

Davydenko
Becker
Kuerten
Raonic
Kyrgios

^Cool... the animatronic version of the old Australian Open logo, yeah!^

Also really awesome is Tommy Paul. Great kid... and his serve motion is just like the very tall, loose-limbed promotion guy at the car dealers and carwashes.
