Top 4 go without saying.

Jo-Willie at 5 has to have the successful grass season he did last year to stay right where he is. He has finalist points at Queen's Club, and Semi points at Wimbledon to make up. He's only 50 points ahead of Ferrer, and if he loses anytime before the finals this week, Ferrer takes 5.

Ferrer at 6 all depends on what Tsonga does, I believe. I wouldn't call grass his favorite surface, so we won't see him a ton. After grass is over with, it's probably a toss up on who gets 5. Tsonga had a big hard court year last year with a semi in Montreal, a Quarter at the Open, a win at Metz, a semi in Beijing, a win in Vienna, a finalist in Paris, and a finalist in the World Tour Finals. Ferrer probably has to hope to pass Tsonga this next month, or he probably doesn't the rest of the year.

Tomas Berdych at 7 could benefit by playing more after the US Open. He only played 5 tourneys after the Open, so he can add some points. Probably needs Ferrer and Tsonga to dip for a chance to move up.

Tipsy at 8 is the one I think is most likely to dip from his position in the next couple months. I don't like how he's playing this year, despite the record, and he's got a couple wins and a final to make up from last year. Eastbourne will tell us a lot because he has finalist points to make up there.

Del Potro at 9. Probably passes Tipsy, but his knees will depend on going any farther.

Isner at 10. Now the #1 American at the absolute perfect time. Might be a favorite to repeat the HOF tourney, and he'll make some points. Highest I see him is 9 if Tipsy drops like I think he will, but that's probably his plateau. Everyone else in front of him is just better.

Jo Willy is fun to watch.
But I would hate to be a hardcore fan of his...........too much heart attacky.

San Juan del Pootsy should rise over the next year.
