Price of tennis balls

Coming back to this thread 2023… US Opens are now $120 per case. Babolat Golds are $117 and normal Wilson championships are at $100. Does anybody know where to get cheaper balls? ( I’ve looked Tennis Plaza and Tennis Warehouse ) or if the price of the balls is gonna come back down?

if you are a USTA member, a discount code was sent for $44 off at Wilson dot com will bring a case down to $75.

They are up and have seemed to stay up vs a few years ago. That being said I have a few cases in the garage b/c the whole family plays.

Beware, some balls have gone flat very quickly after a few hits. I usually carry 3 cans in my bag just in case.
I already found that out last Sunday when we had a break in the weather. I put together a Corney Keg pressurizer and will see how that revives them. I like the expensive balls too, but haven't been able to buy US Open's at the normal outlets by the case so have given up on that for this season. 2 or 3 more cases of cheap Penns should do it for my 69 yr old game.

I got 3 cases of Dunlop Fort Clay and one of Wilson Rolland Garros clay.
Don’t the balls lose pressure if you stock so many cases? I buy balls one case at a time and probably use 3-4 cans a week. Even then when you get to the end of the case in 6-8 weeks, the balls in the last few cans don’t feel as firm.

Not the Dunlop Fort Clay AFAIK. Besides we have 2 players in the house.

At least the price of tennis balls hasn't increased in NZ. Same price as they were in 2019.

$25 NZD = $16.25 USD.
