No need.

abmk, tonylg, PilotPete, ThirdServe voted for Hewitt.

Everyone else, the non-delusionals, voted for Djokovic.
Not going to bother to vote. Prime Djokovic > prime Hewitt overall at USO. But prime Hewitt beats him if he's not playing at that actual prime level. USO 10, USO 12 final in wind, USO 13, USO 14 semi, USO 16.

But keep going with Hewitt is a pusher and nishi was so much more aggressive narrative to cover your hurt at your delusions being exposed.

Sorry, I proved Hewitt of USO 05 semi was just as aggressive as nishi of USO 14 semi with them having similar% of winners per points (15.5-15.6)

Yeah, 14 slower, but federer hits a higher% of winners than djoko which cuts down opponent winner%. So it evens out.

Oh wait, I am not sorry. Nonsense propaganda like that deserves to be exposed.

Prime Hewitt beats Djokovic at the USO in 10, 12 final, 13, 14 and 16.
Djokovic not top 3 at the USO achievements wise or level wise.
Deal with it.
Don’t see this as delusional at all
Most of those tournament runs were solid but nothing more
14 and 16 def lose they sucked
12 could win before the final but otherwise eh if Murray could then Hewitt or Roddick have a shot too
13 was good for 2 sets and bad for 2 others so def beatable
10 was solid but beatable
11 and 15 Djokovic def win but it wouldn’t be easy

Oh yes, leave out Novak's 07, 08 and 09 USO level... wonder why... :D

Djokovic the favourite, but people saying he would destroy Hewitt are equally as ridiculous.
Nowhere near as ridiculous as the idiot the OP has called out...

Hewitt would pummel Novak in each of those USO editions what a load of crap... he'd beat 2014 and 2016 versions and have a good chance against 2012 version. He's not beating 2010, 2011, 2013 & 2015 Novak.

Well, no one really brings those up when talking about prime Djoker in the first place. But peak Hewitt absolutely could have beaten those versions of Djoker. 2007 Djokovic would push him the hardest but his mental strength is too questionable to close such a hypothetical match out imo.

2012 Djoker was on a fairly similar level to 2010 and 2013 at the USO finals (pre-final he was clearly better. Wind screwed him up bigly there though.

The wind is the only reason I'd give Hewitt a chance.

It was deliberate that he left those preceding years out...

Yes, I've read plenty of your old dialogues with him. Probably best to just leave it at this before the storm.
You can tell the disordered_one @The_Order (whom I have on ignore) that I never said Hewitt would pummel all those versions of Novak at the USO. backhand dtl is a lying clueless, sore fellow.

He said 14 USO nishi would easily beat prime Hewitt at the USO. I said Hewitt would beat that Nishi. I also said Hewitt would pummel that djoko in response to his nonsense about 14 USO nishi being a lock vs prime Hewitt at the USO

Nobody cares @abmk ...

You've been trying to push this whole Federer had it tougher crap for about a decade now. Apart from your fellow brethren, no one took you seriously then and nobody is going to take you seriously now either.

Everybody knows Novak is a much tougher customer at the US Open than Hewitt was... cherry picking versions to suit your agenda will get you nowhere...

Agree. I have seen Hewitt hitting a running crosscourt forehand at 15-30 in a Rotterdam match against Gonzalez of such quality that Djokovic can't even imagine. Hewitt was always going to mop the floor with Djokovic on any HC. Not only on hard courts but also on clay courts as well if clay was hard eough.

Prime Hewitt, as in the 01 / 02 version?

Even at his best, Ll had a yearly W-L of 81-18 and 61-15. And he did not face anyone as formidable as prime Novak. Compare with Djokovic and his 2015 W-L of 82-6.

But, but Hewitt played in the strongest era EVER and he also had 2 GOAT candidates fighting alongside him. Djokovic is just another MUG. Clearly Hewitt>Djokovic peak for peak, prime for prime, weak era for weak era etc.

What a bunch of moronic posts, so laughable to read.
Actually comparing Djokovic to someone like Hewitt.

This is the problem with talks of prime/peak. I have a theory that most number 1s playing at their prime could beat anyone on a good day. You should look at players entire career if you are going to compare them.
Agree with that - its when you have two no1s at their peak in a theoretical match up - its all subjective so we need to look at the data. It is easy for both sides to cherry pick examples of favourable scenarios.

Considering Djokovic's performance against similar caliber and lesser caliber players at the USO, Hewitt has a decent shot at Djokovic aside from in 2011 and 2015.

Accounting for Djokovic being closer to peak/prime than Hewitt in all of their matches except the first one, Hewitt pushing Djokovic repeatedly on grass speaks well for him.
Djokovic has been known to get tight against lesser players multiple times even in prime years. Final to Final is the way to compare.

In fact prime Hewitt is worse player than prime Djokovic in general but really bad matchup for Novak same as Nalbandian. Djokovic mostly pushes the ball back and waits for UEs which won’t happen against these two. It would be similar match to him against Medvedev. So, these two players are worse career wise but the matches against Djokovic would be probably very hard fought 5 setters.

Djokovic is a better player than Hewitt but nowhere near as mentally strong as Hewitt. Hewitt was beating prime Federer at times before injuries hit. Federer has never spoken of Djokovic in as glowing terms as hewitt.
You are spot on in your analysis. At USO Hewitt would beat Djokovic.
Just say you don't like Djokovic or declare yourself USO2 and be done with it. I can't believe what I just read. More mentally strong than Djokovic? Beating prime Federer? When? I guess I missed that during his 0 for 15 run in Federer's peak and prime years. You're becoming a meme at this point.

3-5 in US open finals. Losses to Murray, Nishikori and Wawrinka at peak. Owned by both Federer and Nadal at their primes. Numbers don’t lie bud.
