Peak GOATsipas was a force of nature, but hard to compare him with a Top 8 like that.

I think the OP has some pretty reasonable conclusions. The match I would most like to see would be Vs Tsonga at RG. JW was something of a demon on clay at that time. Would be interesting to see if Stef would be able to achieve the clutch Ferrer / Wawrinka / Djokovic level on clay required to take Tsonga out. If it’s a final I would 1000% back Tsonga, but Stef would have his chances in a non-final match.

Now I believe Tsitspas at best would be a top 10 level if he was playing in 2012. Berdych, Tsomga, etc, might be better players than him.

Tsitsipas beat the very best version of Fed at the AO in 2019 quite easily. The best version of Fed on grass courts was bageled by baby Hurkacz.

Tsitsipas probably goes 22-10 vs the top 8 players of 2012. Djoker and Nadal would be responsible for 7 of those losses. Guys like Murray, Delpo, and Tsonga might squeeze out a single victory in 4 chances. Fed would get swept by Tsitsipa; even at Wimbledon.

Tsitsipas is awful on grass. He would never beat Berdych or Nadal.
