For the next week, use this thread to ask Prince questions about bags/accessories, and they'll get back to you by 8/23.

Hey there TT members,

First off, thank you all for the great posts that have already been submitted. This is a new and exciting program, and we’re eager to engage with the TT community to help deliver products and information that truly help take your games to the next level.

Before we start answering questions, there are a few things to point out:

1. You are actually engaging directly with Prince product and player development managers . This is not a summer intern program. We are dedicated to taking our products and your game to the next level, and the best way to do that is to speak directly with you, the athletes.

2. While we’re always eager to make our products better, it's important that we hear not only what's NOT working for you, but also what IS working for you. We need both sides of the story in order to make your comments come to life.

3. Our ultimate goal here is to have an open and forward-thinking dialogue about the future direction of Prince products and all other areas of the game. Though some answers may not be to exactly what you hoped for, they will be detailed, sincere, and straight from the horse’s mouth.

4. We have extensive elite partnerships and the most knowledgeable staff in the sport, with expertise in nutrition, training, sponsorship, mental conditioning, etc. While we appreciate the product related questions, please don't hesitate to ask about these other important topics which can help take your game to the next level.

5. Please be aware that we will do our best to respond to every question asked, we must also conduct our daily responsibilities and continue to develop products and programs for athletes.

OK, with that out of the way... let's hear your questions!

Thanks,
Prince Tennis - Who's Next.

What bag is this?

I bought this bag from a TW member and wonder what year it came out, the name or model number, and what it may have retailed for.

It's either a nine pack or six with a center compartment. It's a great bag, I really like it except for the strap design. No center anchor points, so the bag is lopsided if you try to use the shoulder strap. The backpack straps are on one side instead of the bottom, so I have the same issue with those.

Otherwise it's perfect. Here are some photos so you can see what I'm asking about.

Hi Ap Junior,

These can be purchased by contacting Tennis Warehouse customer service either through email or phone.

Thanks,
Prince Tennis

Hello Prince!

I was wondering if you knew about a bag that a friend of mine had. Its harlequin colored (multicolored) and probably a 12 pack bag. It looks like the car in the the link below but obviously just on the bag. Let me know if you know what this is or how he could get a bag like that (possibly a special order). Thanks.

Hi Tennytive,

We have some terrific new bags being released soon. Stay tuned for the updates.

Prince Tennis,

Please, no marketing, can you help them by answering the question? Lack of concern for the question presented shows a lack of concern for the customer. If you help them with their current needs, chances are they will be ready to step up and buy a new bag when it comes out.

Whoever is in charge of bags might not have been working for Prince at the time said bag was available. I've played with Prince, and paid attention to their products, most of my life, but I can't answer that question. It looks familiar, but i couldn't tell you when it was released.

Comment more than a question........the new 12 packs have MUCH less room than the older models. I just switched back to Prince (love the new exo 3 tour!!!!) after a short hiatus and I actually ended up buying an old used bag because the cooler function in the center part of the bag left much less room than older bags.

Hope future bags will go back to a more standard format with a large center compartment for shoes, clothes, etc.

Hi Fuzzy,

Actually, the new Tour Team 12 packs have the same internal volume. Instead of 3 large full size compartments, we divided the center compartment into 2 smaller compartments to keep things separated and easier to find for athletes. If you could design your ideal 12-pack bag, how would that look? We may opening up a separate thread to allow for some "ideal bag" suggestions. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks,

That would be a great idea to open up a thread so we can give our opinions on a bag that we would like. I find that the current bags out there lack proper support.

I haul quite a lot of stuff in my bag and would love the following features:

1. Shoulder straps that have extensive amount of padding to support the weight carrying so much equipment and gear.

2. Padded pods like the Technifibre bag to provide additional back support for lugging such a heavy bag.

3. Thermal lining for both compartments and several small compartments to store keys, wallets, drinks, and food bars.

Right now, I can't find such a bag with Technifibre VO2 Max fulfilling the first two requirements but not addressing the third.
