They are gone. TW can't get them. Prince has no more. If you call Prince they will give you a couple dealer's phone numbers, who will then send you elsewhere because they are all out. When I looked a few weeks ago I resorted to looking for large shops in areas that tennis was popular (like Atlanta) and calling them to see if they had some. I found one set at a dealer who had around 6 shops. I put a listing in the wanted section here and had one reply, for more than I wanted to spend. I will PM you that person's contact.

For all intensive purposes, they are gone and you may need to tube or repair your current set.

That place does have them. Before they changed the price on their website to "Email Us" they were listed at $60 each.
Wow! Glad I got 2 backups when I bought my frames last year. (Not selling them, don't ask). I had to wait a month I think after receiving my racquet for the grommets to arrive and that was last summer. They were hard to get then, I imagine they're nearly impossible now.

Thanks. I got glue in one of the tubes (don'
t ask, long story) so I had to end up cutting it. I strung the racquet and hit with it yesterday and there seems to be no problem. I am interested in the tube thing...what is that? It would be food to be able to insert a tube right in the hole if I could find one the right size. How do you do that?

If you still have glue inside the hole, try cleaning with a little acetone. Be very careful as that stuff will remove varnish (clearcoat) or paint. If you don't want to go that route, use a drill with a bit that is slightly smaller than the hole. Just clean the edges. Try the Tube (Nylon or Teflon) first. Fittex grommets are good when you have to replace a tie off hole. You need a grommet grinder or bit to drill out the old grommet tube if using Fittex. Longer tubes are better than shorter tubes as you can always shorten by cutting.
