Prince esp 100t : great frame, breaks strings like it's going out of style!

Loving my prince ESP 100t frames, but man oh man I am breaking strings every hour and a half.

I've had to add a 3rd frame because I'm nervous I may break both in the course of a single match!

I'm using volkl cyclone 17g string, but will go to 16g I guess after this reel is through.

Anyone else experiencing this?

You should use thick 15 guage strings such as 4g or Prince XC for your racquet.

Stay away from shaped or textured poly's. They "saw" too much in spin pattern frames. Best bet is 16g or thicker round poly. Prince Tour XC is good but is very low-powered and has a unique feel. Trying isospeed baseline 15L in my frame and liking it so far. Definite sawing at 4.5 hours. Will probably last 10 hrs or so.

Wilson RipSpin is another good 15g that is durable. I got about 9 hours out of Weiss Cannon B5E 17 with Prince Tour XC 15 crosses. You can use a shaped cross but it has to be the main string.

My friend uses premier 105 ESP and seems like Strings just won't last long enough for ESP rackets. he broke the string within 5min then broke another string. If you currently use 17g, try a set of 15g and see whether you like thicker strings or not.

I always make a joke to my friend that "you can always use freshly strung rackets".

He moved to thicker strings and looks like it last slightly longer though.
I still see good spinning actions from his balls.

Discho iontec salmon 1.35mm. On my prince100t ESP I have never break it.after 10 hours the strings are half notched and I change them, but they could arrive to 15 hours I think.

I have the Steam 105s and I use Pro's Pro Intesnse Heat 1.30 in there which is not textured and stings slide easily back and forth and I get about 12-15 hours.

I picked up the Premier 105ESP and just grabbed the 100T ESP as well. Have not hit with the 100T yet, but Pro's Pro has reels of great strings at a cheaper price that keeps you from spending a fortune on strings every couple of matches.
