Prince Graphite Classic or PS 85?

I am currently looking for a somewhat CHEAPER backup racquet for my K90 (which I love). I am trying to decide between the Prostaff 85 and Prince Graphite Classic Mid. What are you opinions on these two racquets? Which one has more power/control, do they play differently? Although I do plan on demoing them, it's hard to say how they really "play" since the demo string job is so crappy. I was surprised to see how similar these racquets are in terms of specs. Has anyone used BOTH of these racquets?

P.S. I much prefer the look of the PGC, solid green.

If you're looking for a back-up to a K90 I'd be very surprising if you couldn't find an n90 for the same price, or cheaper than a PS85 or POGmid. Regardless, if you only had the POG and PS85 to choose from, I don't see any sensible reason to choose the Prince.

Welcome to TT :)

Why not just buy another used K90 from the For Sale section here? Its really best to have 2 of the same racket....if you break a string its best to pick up another K90 and carry on playing. One day you may play better with your backup stick and this can cause confusion over which is best.....plus K90s can be had for a very good price.

If you're using a K90, you should probably go with the PS85, since its much more similar in construction and stats. Also, n90s are much cheaper than the PS85, but they play about the same. Why don't you get that instead?

Yes, the PS85 will player closer to your K90. I just switched from the K90 to the POG mid and the weight is lighter. I don't get as much plow through with the POG's. I recently brought out my 85's for kicks and they play great. I might switch back to the 85's because of the added weight and stability.
