Prince O3 Tour 100 (290g)

Just played 5 sets of doubles today with a Prince Tour 100 16x18. Tend to alternate between that sick and the Tour 100 18x20. They are sick sticks those two and I can alternate between them both

The 18x20 is an excellent control racquet, hard to miss the ball, very comfortable, volleys excellent, large sweet spot but first serves lacking in pace. The 16x18 hits a heavier ball with more spin, very comfortable, volleys not as controlled but I find serves excellent with good pace and shape.

They are both superb racquets to play with and I just give the edge to the 16x18 because it hits a heavier ball with more spin.

If the new Tour 100 EXO3 is anything like the Tour 100 16x18 and 18x20 it will be an excellent stick. BTW just use a Sharpie when stringing the crosses on the ported sticks, works a treat.
2019 version?

"Later this day, first try with the ported Prince Tour(290g) If I like the racquet, I will fill the four chambers with silicon nearly to the 310g specs."

Interesting. The solid beam 290 has the usual 2 chamber handle. So many differences between these two it would seem like a separate place of manufacture.

Later this day, first try with the ported Prince Tour(290g) with raw specs. Only added a heavier overgrip to 320g strung. If I like the racquet, I will fill the four chambers with silicon nearly to the 310g specs.

320g strung?
How much that overgrip weigh??

Great sticks except for the serve And volley, i have two 16/18,with some lead there is a improvement for sure, dont know for the o3 tour 100 but the solid version is much more powerfull maybe too much for my taste and a bit stiff if you string poly high tension to tam the power and control

REALLY impatient to have serious comparison between the old Tour 100 O3 16x18 (290g) vs the new Tour 100 O3 16x19 (290g)!!!!!!!!!

Dont claim to be a Prince expert, but the old orange tour o3 looks much closer to the current phantom port frame. (Too low powered for my taste!)

I personally think the best application of o3 tech is on medium firm frames.

So, perfect with the new Tour 100 O3 (290g), right?
I will demo it at the end of the month.
My beater o3 white (2006, 66 ra) I bought a few weeks ago definitely tops my solid beam 2019 tour 16×18. The o3 feels almost as soft as the phantom pro, but still hits a heavy ball.

Hoping the o3 tour is like it but more maneuverable/easy swinging.

We know it's a 65 ra. Just hoping it has the power of a 65 but the feel/softness of a 59 given the ports.
I am pretty sure it will be close... even the non O3s feel way more comfortable than 64,65... i say tt 100 (310) really plays like low 60s...

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! That frame is INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-D:laughing::-D
I tried it tonight for the first ever time at a tournament match... That I win.
Exactly what I was looking for!!!
If you love the Phantom Pro 100 but needed more power (not too much but MORE), same control, better stability and maniability with more spin and always INCREDIBLE comfort... TRY IT.
Prince did an AMAZING JOB again with this one!!!!!!!! My new best friend!!!:love::love:

I do not like the overall muted feeling. Maybe the also muted YPTP 17 was not the right choice in this frame !? I give the racquet a new try with Lyon or Hawk Touch!

The feel is really muted. If you don't like muted frames, go away. ;)
I personally LOVE muted feeling (my arm even more).
I'm pretty sure I could play without dampener!! Will try tomorrow!

Glad you like it!! Would you be able to post some pictures of the frame? I'm kinda curious about the string spacing and head shape :)

Serves are great. Flat bombing or evil kick.
Net play? What is this??
Trajectory is what you want. You can hit low and flat or high and spinny...
Fantastic frame. Just try it...
Did you also try the standard Tour 100 290 version? Would be interested to have a comparison.

No, I was only interested about the O3 ports. And it's a dream to spin with!!!!!!
Any comments on stability? Does it need any weight? Gonna try one in a few weeks, can't wait!!

Really great stability. 290g is perfect for me. I can spin with ZERO fatigue for hours!!! And with the O3 ports, the head speed is AMAZING!!!!!! I'm cutting the air!!! What a pleasure it is!!!!!!!!

Oh boy... u went to the dark side hahaha...
Yeah that's going to look sick... I hit with xperience for a while in my tour but too much power. How is the comfort on hyper g?
Exactly, man. X-perience is great but way too much power.
Hyper-G is less comfy BUT with the O3 system and Twaron technology, you can play with stiffer poly!!! And at higher tension. I will start at 24/23kg.
That frame is INSANE!!!

I'm really interested in Prince O3 Tour 100 (310g).
Currently playing with Prince Warrior 100, but i would certainly prefer thinner beam and more HL balance of O3 Tour 100.
I would like to see some reviews of this model because i can not demo it in my region.

I left the Prince Warrior 100 b/c I just wasn't getting enough power on my strokes. Feel, Spin, Control were all there, but power was lacking. Mostly due to the lower weight and balance.
I tried the 100P and it felt really nice, but I had just bought a Yonex earlier that year and didn't want to switch too soon.
Now, I'm wanting a more powerful frame and kept thinking of the O3 Black, but was scared by the 71 stiffness. Assuming that won't matter much due to the ports, but still.
Now, I'm thinking that this new O3 Tour 100 might be a cool compromise.

Although, I really liked the new Aero Pro and T-Flash 300 PS.
Decisions, Decisions . . .

A very nice racquet at a very nice price. I used to have a stack of the exo 3 tours. I couldn't get them to work with my 1hbh but in every other regard they felt like butter to hit with.
Really happy to know it because I really don't know what to expect!!! :giggle:
I bought it because of the pretty much similar specs! And some good reviews on the net, that's true!! ;)
Can't wait to hit with!!! :p

Excellent racquet!!! Extremely close to the new O3 Tour 100 (290)!!
I have an incredible chance to have the same weight and balance!! So cool!!! :p

Andujar is still playing with the old Exo3 Tour 100!!! Increible!!!! :D

I tried it yesterday. I don't know how it is strung, probably RPM, and low tension.

I want something more confortable than my Ultra 100 CV. And it fits perfectly, I enjoyed my test. I have to test further tomorrow. I love how I could hit my FH with more direct trajectories, less spin.

I had trouble finding angles on serves, but with more games with it, it should do it. Maybe it lacks a little weight for the volleys, I'll check that again.

I think it's a great racquet, with great confort and maniability, and that allows to hit better than most frames.

I have hybrid Alu Power/TGV@19-21kg on the Ultra 100 CV, I wonder the tension I should string the O3 Tour with the same hybrid.
